The Yankees are going to be closer to the Braves in payroll than the Mets.

We are never going outspend the Mets. That’s why it’s vital AA and company get the right people in place to draft and develop. That’s the one place we can beat them.

Not really about the mets. They still have concerns on offense and injury risk in the rotation

It’s about the braves inability to get better or to remotely be able to compete in contract dollars

fair... but for me it's always about the mets as i despise that franchise and fanbase... biased hatred

the monies going around i am glad the braves are not giving out these ridiculous and desperate contracts in trying to win immediately, whereas the braves are setup to win over the next six years

LF is projected to be the lowest WAR value in all of baseball. Can’t happen with a team that is supposed to be a contender.

At least with Freddie he already got Olson to replace him. And even though Freddie was quite a bit better the logic made a lot of sense why he went with Matt over Freddie. But going into the season with holes at SS/LF and not doing anything about it is insane.
