I was already in my early 20's before I watched my first season of college football.That was 1994 and the player was Peyton Manning

Probably Bobby Majors. We just came back from living in Spain three years, dad was in the Air Force, and we bought a new TV and watched #5 Penn State vs #12 Tennessee. I can still remember Bobby Majors defensive play in that game. 1971...a long time but, that is the first real memory I had of Tennessee and a single player. After getting more and more into Tennessee football I liked Hacksaw Reynolds, Condredge Holloway, the WRs Gault and others.

Was only about 10 years old before I started paying attention to football of any kind outside of the SB. I was a Braves fan first so we watched baseball on the weekend.

I remember Dad always listening to the radio for the Vols game, but we rarely watched the football games (or at least I didn't anyways).

I didn’t grow up in Tennessee. Daryl Talley was my first early favorite Mountaineer. The student section at WVU used to have a section called Talley’s Terrorists. Probably couldn’t call them that these days.
