It was a Great Pyrenees
I have friends in Texas who own a cattle ranch, and they have a Great Pyrenees named Bo that they let out every night to guard the cattle herd. He keeps the coyotes away and they have never lost a cow or calf to predators. What a great dog!

They let Bo back in the yard at dawn and then he sleeps most of the day:

Go to bowls? That’s not the highest standard

Edward K. Hall is in there... 20 total games coached, 10-6-4
Tad Wieman is in there 57 total games coached, 29-24-4
Tuss McLaughry is in there 305 total games coached, 143-149-13

All older coaches...okay Bill Yeoman is in there, 276 total games coached, 160-108-8 was inducted in 2001

21 seasons 265 total games coached, 158-107 with only 3 regular seasons below 500.

If Doug Porter is in the college football hall of fame as a head coach with a career 58.3% while coaching at Mississippi Valley State, Howard, and Fort Valley State then Mike Leach should in there too. And he spent 13 years working his way up as an assistant as well. His one year at OU took that offense from 16.7 ppg and 101st in the country to 35.8 ppg and 6th in the country.

1997 at Kentucky as the OC they were 25th in the country in PPG with 31.6, the previous year they were 110th at 12.5 ppg. In his second season at Kentucky they climbed to 11th with 35.9 ppg.

She lost her grandfather earlier this year at 96 as well. It can be difficult to see the blessing of that when you are in the hurt. She knows it, but losing her last two grandparents so close together is tough. Just trying to be supportive, because I know my last two grandparents are moving closer to their eternity as well. My PaPa is almost 93 and my Na is 90. We can't keep our family forever, and I would not want to. It doesn't make it any less painful when they are called home but it is a comfort to know that they will have their peace and be made new.

A couple of years ago, I was talking to a friend about retiring at 65. My daughter walked up and asked me what I’d be doing when she retired at 65. (I was 42 when she was born)

Not thinking, I told her that I would be gone before she retired…next thing I know, she is crying and then I am crying telling her that I will do my best to stay around as long as I can. So now I gotta figure out a way to be alive and active at least past my 107th birthday 🥳 🤠😳

The goodest boy!

Any of you all make your own "Chex" mix?
Catching up. My dad makes chex mix that is indescribably good. I've asked him for years to just measure the ingredients as he's assembling it, but he won't. He's tried to give me his best guess at the measurements, but mine never turns out anywhere close to as good as his does.
