I have friends in Texas who own a cattle ranch, and they have a Great Pyrenees named Bo that they let out every night to guard the cattle herd. He keeps the coyotes away and they have never lost a cow or calf to predators. What a great dog!It was a Great Pyrenees
Go to bowls? That’s not the highest standard
She lost her grandfather earlier this year at 96 as well. It can be difficult to see the blessing of that when you are in the hurt. She knows it, but losing her last two grandparents so close together is tough. Just trying to be supportive, because I know my last two grandparents are moving closer to their eternity as well. My PaPa is almost 93 and my Na is 90. We can't keep our family forever, and I would not want to. It doesn't make it any less painful when they are called home but it is a comfort to know that they will have their peace and be made new.

They let Bo back in the yard at dawn and then he sleeps most of the day:

Catching up. My dad makes chex mix that is indescribably good. I've asked him for years to just measure the ingredients as he's assembling it, but he won't. He's tried to give me his best guess at the measurements, but mine never turns out anywhere close to as good as his does.Any of you all make your own "Chex" mix?
