My family could use some prayers for peace and comfort. My wife's grandmother is 96 and has been in a nursing home for several months now. They just verified today that she has been having a series of strokes and at least one more serious stroke. They have started her on Morphin, so not sure how much longer she has. This is my wife's last remaining grandparent and it is hitting her pretty hard.

So weird... My wife's grandmother, 98, suffering from dimentia, was moved in to transition at hospice yesterday after becoming unresponsive Sunday night and taken too the er. Also my wife's last grandparent, and she's taken it pretty hard as well. Prayers sent.

Truly bewildering there’s nothing going on with defensive players

but we don’t have the defensive talent yet! Just wait until next year! Seriously though jokes aside. I completely agree. Not every great portal player is a basketcase either that won’t fit into most locker rooms…. See that narrative of out there a lot and that’s completely unfair to most of these guys out there without personally knowing them

Absolutely terrifying. Linebackers and secondary are the worst units on the entire team. They didn’t address linebacker last year either and it cost us the playoffs this year.

I think they have seen more that they like on offense than defense to this point. They are looking at defense but players more scarce

Awful news. RIP coach Leach. You never know when it's your time, or a loved ones time to go. I wouldn't have expected it to this much, but this one hurts. I liked CML a lot, what a refreshing personality in CFB.
I believe others have said it too, but this happening brings me back to an unexpected loss. I know any loss of a loved one is hard, but not getting to say goodbye, or tell them how much you love them while they are conscious leaves a deep wound. Tell people how much they mean to you, you never know when time is cut short.

That is an insane take…. If that was true then you would see it in recruiting as well….. 7 of our top twelve prospects are on the defensive side of the ball…. 8 out of 13 if you include Jalen Smith who I can’t believe isn’t a 4* yet.

It doesn't make any sense unless they simply don't value what's out there, or already have other things lined up for later on in the cycle?
