I don't think that Swanson would leave 50 to 60 million on the table.

If Swanson leaves, I certainly hope AA uses that money to extend Fried before he hits the market in 2 years. Max definitely sees what the top pitchers are getting and knows his worth is rising quickly, but an early offer might sway him some. Probably won’t, but AA can avoid SOME of the fan lashback at losing Fried by at least trying.
