Maybe. UT would still need to be ranked above USC as well. The committee has a history of only dropping teams that lose in the conference championship about 1-3 spaces, even in championship game blowout losses Almost like they recognize that team was playing an extra game that everyone else didn’t, so they don’t want to punish them as much as one would during a regular season loss.

(There’s like one instance of a team dropping 4+ spaces after the conference championship, but looking back on it, it was also heavily based on their schedule, specifically that their OOC schedule was all Group of 5 teams and an FCS team…)

I would normally agree, but we recruit against Ohio State a lot ... and they have such an easy road all the time. They play two good teams (Penn State and Michigan), and they don't even have to beat them both.

TCU’s SOS is better than UGA and it’s only going to improve playing a top 10 opponent today. It’s a foregone conclusion that UGA is in no matter what, that should (and likely will) be the case for TCU, barring a 30pt loss.

I hope Chaous happens. Perdue beats Michigan which shows Bug 10 not deserving of any participant. K State hammers TCU let the Does SEC and there Strength of conference deserve 3 teams. That would be fun TV for 2 days. In CHRIST Alone

I would like to see Purdue beat Michigan. I know it won't change anything ... but it does make the Big Ten look like crap.
