USC/Utah

I would say yes, USC will not be there. If Kansas St whips TCU they won’t make it either. TCU and even Michigan can’t afford to lose by 20 or neither of them will be in either. Even though I don’t see that happening to Michigan. But Kansas St could give TCU trouble for sure.
Michigan is a lock for the playoff. There’s no result tomorrow that would keep them out.

Utah tough as nails on both sides of the ball, and just wanted it more. USC had some of the worst tackling I’ve seen in a while, and Utah wouldn’t be denied. I love it when a fraud like USC gets exposed. Williams gonna have to spend some extra time at the spa next few days after that beating.

Tennessee is not getting in and we have ourselves to blame for it. You put it in someone else’s hands, and this is what happens. Now, with that being said, as a fan, I would much rather see Bama play Georgia than OSU. I think Alabama would provide a larger challenge than OSU. I’ve watched OSU multiple times this year, and if they come out slow and play badly (like at Northwestern) they will get beaten by 28+ points. If they play well, maybe 17ish. Not a popular opinion, but who would you rather play right now, injuries and all, OSU, Bama, or UT? Personally, I’d rather play UT (unknown commodity at QB at the moment and a defense that can be serviceable to terrible), then OSU, and I would rather play Bama least. That’s why I say Bama should be in over OSU.

Bad angles… quitting on plays… puny looking players…. They looked like a bunch of girls

Bama with two losses shouldn’t be in over Ohio St. with one loss

I think TCU stays in even with a loss. The path of least resistance would be to take them with one loss instead of rehashing the Bama or UT debate. I think they’ll take the one loss team that loses a conference title game over either 2 loss team that didn’t even make the conference title game.

IMO, the field is already set with Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and Ohio State. The only question to be answered tomorrow is the order.

I don’t disagree agree in theory, but OSU’s loss was ugly ugly and they have played some really ugly games that they managed to win. Bama has two losses by four points to good teams… well one good team and one that’s not sure what it wants to be. Bama played in a tougher conference too. I would pick Bama over OSU if they played head to head in a neutral site. That’s my reasoning. Might not make sense to all, but to me it does. There are phones ringing and probably some back room deals, or creative lobbying, going on right now. No way the SEC office isn’t trying to get another team in.

3 SEC teams should have been in this year tbh.

Injuries should not factor In at all in placement of teams. All teams have injuries. Now you can argue their better but let’s keep it on the field. You never restrict a deserving team of their spot based on injuries. Too subjective to get into injuries even if they may play apart, teams also rally around and players step up.

Until the South Carolina game, I would have said three SEC teams was on the table, or at least not insane to consider. UT shot themselves in the foot on that one.

I get that, but honestly, is this team the same team it was with Hooker? Like I said, I’m not sure about that. The thumping, both the score and when it happened in the schedule, SCar gave UT really made that a moot point.

Utah owned USC this season beat them twice just like they owned Oregon last season also beating them twice. UTAH runs the Pac 12 I still don’t know how they lost that Florida game

Several reports that their players were nearly choking from the humidity. I remember the same thing happening to a team from Berkeley CA on a beautiful Labor Day weekend in 2006.
