hey @MarcoVol what's that word that starts with a "v" and basically means like "person who has been wronged or injured"?

Weird question, but I thought I'd ask. . . my grandma worked at TSD (Tennessee School for the Deaf). She always said there are a lot more deaf people in the world than you realize.

I was thinking about that this morning and it occurred to me that I've never heard any of your voices, just your posts. I think it's wild how you can get an idea of someone's personality just through what you post.

So, the question is. . . are any of you deaf?
Sorry. I can't hear you.

Honestly I'm fine with the Cotton Bowl (still a NY6 bowl), seeing Bazooka Joe sling it all over the field and blowing the doors off Tulame.

We'll finish in the top 3 most likely in final poll.

USC loses to Utah though and they fall big time, Pac-12 being a weaker conference has hurt every team when they lose.
TCU loses to Kansas State and they'll likely drop outta the top 4 (if USC has lost they could still be there though)
Clemson loses to UNC and Ohio State (if not in CFP) may prefer playing in the Rose Bowl instead of facing UNC

I just want total chaos...Michigan and Georgia I think are in final CFP top 4 no matter how they play in their title games...but them losing would be hilarious either way.

For anyone in the country who doesn't think UT regularly gets screwed by the media, especially in Football, just look at this year and the blatant disrespect from top to bottom...
Hooker leads in all or most categories, playing in the toughest conference, with what he's done off the field as well as on the field, and he's literally eliminated from the Heisman race the second he gets hurt... Hyatt leads in all categories and they are just making up 'ish that they like the OHST WR better cause of his Dad and it's OHST... We get screwed by the committee after they list their ranking criteria and we lead bama in every category, yet they are ranked above us... They are most likely going to let OHST tell them what bowl they want and knock us down a notch... All this AFTER OHST gets whipped on their own field at the end of the season, which apparently is supposed to be the kiss of death (see loss to SC), but it doesn't apply to them and they are still calling the shots...

It's PATHETIC....

Tennessee: Nicholaus Iamaleava, QB
2023 ESPN 300 ranking: 32
Iamaleava is a 6-foot-6, 195-pound quarterback from Downey, California, and is ranked as the No. 6 pocket-passer in the country. He is the highest-ranked commit in the class and followed his 2,244-yard, 33-touchdown junior season with 1,986 passing yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior.
Both Hendon Hooker and Joe Milton III are seniors and coach Josh Heupel will need a new quarterback. The staff have sophomores Gaston Moore and Navy Shuler, as well as freshman Tayven Jackson, but none have a significant amount of experience.
Given the lack of depth, Iamaleava should have an opportunity to come in and compete right away.

ESPN doesn't know that Milton is returning? Holy crap!

They don't do the research because they don't give a 'ish....

There’s a difference between legitimate complaints and being little biatches and whining about everything.

‘22 Vols are far from the only team to get criticized for running up score / padding stats. Like is this the first year some of y’all have ever watched sports?

Hyatt should win the Biletnikoff. But 1 person writing an article saying someone else should win isn’t reason to complain. People have different opinions.

Hooker should be in NYC. Who said he won’t be? If he isn’t, that’s a mistake.
And you have appointed yourself the arbiter of what’s legitimate and what isn’t? Got it.
Everyone run your complaints through @MarcoVol before posting so he can determine legitimacy.

Has there been ANY signs that CJH may look at changing some coaches on defense. I go back to what he has said in the past about the defense just need to stop splash plays and long sustained drives.

I don’t think Hooker leads in any stats….. he should definitely be up there, imo…. He meant so much to turning this program around in such a difficult conference.

Auburn may have hired just what they need, just like Bama did with Mike Price......oh what could have been.

Yeah a lot of pundits are bad at their jobs.
Yes, they are.

Especially those that accuse kids of being on steroids...or, those that think trash on the field is "toxic", and we should have to play our home games "in an empty stadium"; yet, whenever others do it, crickets...or, "locker-room culture will lead to Vandy beating us"...or...

Damn, there I go again...

Bryce Young to the Texans so they can once again ruin the potential career of a young QB....ya hate to see it
Will Levis to the Lions, it won't matter WHERE he goes mostly likely he's going to flame out regardless but talk about getting buried without a chance
CJ Stroud to the Seahawks this makes sense and would be a solid pick...I think Pete is more likely to wait and try to get a value QB later in the draft but I could see it

Jordan Addison as the 1st WR taken? Doubt that happens even though the WR class isn't really stacked (quite a few names aren't eligible yet, another reason I think Hyatt goes). I think Xavier Hutchnison has the size and production to impress NFL scouts and if he runs a fast 40 and looks good at combine he'd be a name to watch. I think Hyatt will also be in consideration, especially if they see that speed in person and he clocks an impressive 40 time. Rome Odunze and Jalen McMillan both are eligible for the draft and had better seasons at Washington than Addison at USC. I think Jordan is taken early, but don't think he'll be the first WR off the board and I really doubt a WR gets taken in the first 15 picks. Also Quentin Johnston, Jaxon Smith-Njigba (he didn't even play this season...they really think he did enough last year to be a high pick?)

Lord...that mock is a mess, they list all these WRs that had pretty weak seasons compared to Hyatt or Hutchinson and yet neither of them was even mentioned.

I actually could see the Titan taking a RB with that 1st round pick...but I actually think Gibbs or even Eric Gray (I know) would better fit there. Henry is who they hitched their wagon too, I'd assume they'd like to bring in a chance of pace guy that could be utilized in the passing game instead of another big back.
