That's what I'm saying. If Hyatt goes pro as suspected, he could opt out. Other than Squirrel, we haven't seen much of the other freshmen receivers. But if someone gets hurt, they could be put into service.

Yeah, Nimrod and Webb also on the team. And I could be wrong @LA Vol may know for sure but I think participating in the bowl doesn't burn a RS for this season (which might be one reason we haven't seen more of the other freshmen WRs).

I'd also be kind of surprised if Hyatt opts-out. Unlike Tillman he hasn't got the injury issues to recover from and he also won't be able to impress scouts while practicing for the Senior Bowl Game.

I see where we are losing a WR. The thing is over time we will lose several at that position. WR all think every pass should come their way. That is the nature of the position but with that being said the elite will want to come here because of the offense and the exposure that comes with it. Kind of a double edged sword for those guys, play great get seen, unless you are elite in all aspects, set and watch.

Yeah we're very attractive for portal WRs or HS guys...but I think the guys on team that aren't getting opportunities and see better talent coming in around them are just going to portal out. How the landscape of college works now.

Holiday is a great example, came in and was supposed to be one of the fastest guys...2 classes for Heupel and Holiday isn't even one of the 3 or 4 fastest in the WR room.

There's an overall consensus, hate it as we will. I've yet to see a single poll or consensus of computer analytics have us higher. That said, it's also very close.

I feel no place to complain really after giving up 63 to USCjr. And what a great season regardless. And someone said it would give us a better bowl time, which I'm all for. This NY6 bowl vs that NY6 bowl...I just don't care that much. We're in a frankin' NY6 bowl!!

Win+ = Win percentage x 1.5
OS+ = Offensive scoring, normalized from 0.0-0.5
DS+ = Defensive scoring, normalized from 0.0-0.5
SOS+ = Strength of Schedule, excluding wins/losses caused by the team
OSOS+ = Opponents' Strength of Schedule x 0.5

OSR, DSR, SSR, OSSR are ranks.

It'll be interesting to see who goes when all is said and done, and it'll be fun to see who we get in return. Who leaves will definitely have an effect on what positions we go after in the portal. I'm not convinced losing the two Jimmy's will cause us to look for a WR, but should another WR leave, then it wouldn't surprise me if we did. Right now, there's just positions that are of more need than WR.
