Committee made their decision last week when they dropped UT behind both Bama and LSU. They weren't going to move UT ahead of either one of them unless one of them lost.

Blaming it on Hooker's injury is pure BS. UT wasn't going to make the playoffs after losing to SCAR-- even though everyone's now touting SCAR as a respectable team.

So once we lost to UGA, we we’re doomed in the eyes of the committee..even beating SC wouldn’t have mattered..We basically had to go undefeated to make it to the playoffs..by my logic..Ridiculous!!

That being said, I’m still happy with 10-2 and ranked 7th..

I disagree. We would have absolutely jumped OSU had we beat SC and not lost Hooker. Had we lost a close one to SC we'd been above Bama too. That loss left a terrible taste in the committee's mouth. Hard for them to get past that.
