Then he's been playing in rain and other adverse conditions for his entire career....what..going on 4-5 years now? Come on. This guy isn't a youngster going through growing pains. This guy has a lot of time and experience under his belt. Again, he is who and what he is. Staff will have to tailor play calling to what he does well and hope our OL and running game can carry the offense. Heupel is nuts if he doesn't take advantage of the portal to bring in another experienced QB for next season.

There is no way I am bringing in another qb unless one of the scholarship QBs is not going to be here.

Good to see Herbie's digs at UT blow up in his face. He was probably still miffed about UT fans calling out his buddy Bear for criticizing UT for running up the score against Mizzou. That divided locker room jab was right up there with him smirking while gator chomping when picking UF over UT.

i think more egregious than the gator chomp was how he went about picking us over UGA in Athens. there's times when i think Herbie is pretty level headed about TN, and there's a general respect for what this program represents in the CFB world, then there's other times like the last few weeks where i think "WTF dude?"

Oh bro I’m for the pettiness in sports. Just big picture he’s in a situation of other‘s making. I’m glad I didn’t experience that type of pressure at that age. If he’s not the best player in the world he’s gonna have to delete all social media.

Nico being “under the radar” as much as a 5* elite qb can be is fantastic. I know everyone wishes he was #1 but this is way better for him and Vols.

yeah, it's almost like there's no place for Arch to go, but down. and Texas is in a weird place, and there's going to be a "savior" mentality from fans about what Arch is gonna do for them in terms of being nationally relevant again.

arch may have more of a career like his name sake than either of his uncles.....which won't be terrible, but will be devoid of what TX wants and expects from the no. 1 rated player of all time...lol.

Ya, and worst of all, he's not like most high school QBs who haven't had elite coaching yet and therefore have a lot of room to grow. He's a lot closer to his peak than most from all the coaching he's gotten since birth. He'll be a good college QB I think, but not to the level of the expectations.
