He and we might as well get used to it because he is always going to try and protect his players..which is admirable, but there is going to a price for doing it.

He did get a 12.3 million parting gift from Penn State….There are legit reasons why hearsay is not admissible in a court of law…. Schiano doesn’t strike me as the run away… white as a ghost kind of person.

I think what he is saying is that not addressing it leads to speculation by fans and media. He can't control what fans and media say. He can't expect to put a cloak over everything and not expect fans and media to speculate. He should have said Banks was suspended for a violation of team rules, wasn't serious but enough to keep him out for a game. Hated to do it but standards have to upheld for everyone.

I really think he was addressing it towards Herby the luv bug.

Don’t underestimate the return of the Neyland fortress! This is the first time we have been unbeaten at home since 2007, 2nd since 1999!

Love how our schedule is set up, orange tinted glasses and all. We only have Florida, Bama, Mizzou and UK away with Bama being our only true test, as it should be.

If Richardson returns winning in the Swamp early in the season will be very tough. You saw how hard winning in hostile environments was for us this year.

As InVOL posted, it seems clear that the remarks were aimed at Herby and possibly other sports media speculators.

None of is know the restrictions UT and the related laws/regs/policies may have have on public disclosure of team or university discipline. So it is best to just stay out of meddlin' in others' business, IMO. JMO.

I know what I saw at USCe and it was coaching flaws on defense. There are none on offense. The #1 in the game - period. Using the same type rated players that the D has from the same overall roster.

It most likely cost them the playoffs. Well, nobody expected that to happen in August anyway. Now we know what needs to be fixed going forward.

Let's see perspective. I'm just happy we are B6 bowling and a Top Ten, maybe Top 5 rated football program. At my age I was beginning to wonder if I would get to see this again. This team is one my all time favorites for what they have meant to the restoration of real Vol football. The game needs us and we need the game. I just hope Hendon gets invited to the Heisman ceremony as a finalist.

And for all that I will be forever grateful to Randy, Donde, Danny, Josh, the coaching staff, and a bunch of VFLs.
