Historically there doesn't seem to be a lot of change at the top when teams lose in their conference tourney; it really only appears to alter the fates of bubble-type teams or squads that were around 8/9/10 possibly moving up a bit.
I'm sure pitt/uconn will still grab #1s.
Didn't we get like a #2 seed even after being ousted by the gamecocks in our first sec tourney match?
I'm pretty sure no one was pegging us for a #1 prior to that.
