Gabriel was Heupels last QB at UCF, and he transferred to Okie where he played this year. After his disparaging remarks about Heupel after he kept to come to UT I seriously doubt he would be wanting to come here.

I’ve posted this somewhere on VN, but I’ve been told that he has really gotten his life turned around and is making an effort. Reaffirmed his faith.
The DM thing is weird, but I’m not judging the motivation. I don’t know why and not my business. I hope he’s on the right track with his faith and wish him success.

I hope he has but nobody would know if he hasn’t ….guys like that are good about faking it in front of other people.

Jimmy Hyams is an idiot. Heard him on the radio earlier saying if USC and TCU both lose this weekend, Bama deserves to be in the CFP. I wish they would fire his ass. Only 4 of Bama's wins were over teams that finished with a winning record. And one of those four was an FCS school. 3 games this season our defense gave up more than 425 total yards. Bama, Florida, South Carolina (those 3 games are anomalies)
2 games this season our defense gave up more than 70% completion. South Carolina and LSU (those 2 games are anomalies)
3 games this season our defense gave up more than 325 passing yards. Bama, South Carolina, Florida (again...anomalies)
1 game this season our defense gave up more than 3 passing TDs. South Carolina

Even if you look at the 2021 season.

2 games with 70% completion or higher
3 games with 325 passing yards or higher (including bowl game)
1 game with more than 3 passing TDs against (including bowl game)

The South Carolina game was an anomaly completely. What makes it more so though is that Bama's the 1st ranked roster, LSU is 8th, and Florida is the 12th ranked. South Carolina is 20th (and behind us) so they were the only team with a worse roster that was able to put up insane offensive numbers against our defense.

Not sure why you're bringing up Vandy and Kentucky, but those 2 would also be anomalies for the season. Just on the opposite side of the discussion. But we played 12 games, only held 3 teams under 300 total yards and only had 3 teams go over 425 total yards.

Ok just finished work and want to respond to this now. First off, I typically enjoy your posts and points of view. I'm not trying to start a fight on here with you, but............... You posting the definition of anomaly is a petty move and suggests you think you're smarter than others. You might be. CONGRATS. You also might be considered an A-hole by someone that doesn't know you.

Now for your point. Thank you for clarifying your broad anomaly statement from your original post. It took you awhile, but you arrived at what you're trying to say. You finally made a decent argument by showing talent on the opposition roster and POINTS allowed (I think). Anything else is broad and not true. We have bad defensive stats against the pass because we don't defend the pass well. Many QB's that were not that good had their best game of the season against us. Levis was an anomaly to that point. We allow a lot of yards because teams can throw it on us. Your original post showed almost every defensive statistic (not just points). So in my opinion, Rattler's game against us was an anomaly for South Carolina, not us. Levis's performance against us was an anomaly for us.

Pretty well said. Whether he's genuine in his contrition or not is irrelevant. He's proving there's clearly no punishment for some pretty bad crimes. Went from millions to some fewer millions to more millions for stuff that would ruin most people's careers for good.

Lots of prisoners have done that...they still have to stay in prison. Freeze has had almost zero serious consequences, and the minor ones he's had are now being erased and then some.

I don't know if Jackson stays or not. He has lost a lot of his luster among average fans and has kinda slipped to the way side. It's hard to come in and make a splash anywhere these days as a freshman and Nico might find that out as well. I remember when Peyton started there were some rumblings about Brandon Stewart at the time should start.......the rumblings calmed down quickly though.
