Well, clutch my pearls....This just makes me think Williams will definitely win over Hooker. Degenerate culture sells, christianity does not. The “**** NDxx” will get eyeballs and clicks, Bible verses get yawns.
Do I agree with that, or like it? No. It’s a serious problem in our society, but it isn’t new.
Make. It. Happen.View attachment 518894

So with the dust settling where did our D end up finishing?
13th in SEC in passing yards allowed at 287 a game
12th in SEC in passing completion % allowed at 63.7
12th in SEC in passing TDs allowed at 1.8 per game
2nd in SEC in rushing yards allowed at 111.8 per game
2nd in SEC in rushing YPC allowed at 3.2 per carry
4th in SEC in rushing TDs allowed at 1.2 per game
14th in SEC in total plays allowed at 74.2 per game
11th in SEC in total yards allowed at 398.8 per game
3rd in SEC in turnovers created per game at 1.7
6th in SEC in points allowed at 23.5 per game
Without the USC Jr. game the defense would have finished a lot better.
12th in passing yards allowed
6th in passing completion
5th in passing TDs
2nd in rushing yards allowed
1st in rushing YPC
2nd in rushing TDs allowed
7th in total plays allowed
6th in total yards allowed
4th in points allowed at 19.9
Yeah, as much as I'd love to finish ranked over Alabama, I would much rather play in this game. Dabo already gave us our bulletin board material, underdogs. Orange vs orange at Orange.View attachment 518894

The thing that people are overlooking is Urban only wins because of superior talent. He knows that deep down, and isn't trying to take a group of 5 team into a P5 conference. Urban will coach again, but it will be a cushy gig.
None of that stuff bothers me at all…. It’s just noise that goes away soon…. There have been other games where we have thrown on the field that hardly draw attention…. One game there was a give away(can’t remember what it was) but people could use it like an air plane…. Fans were throwing them on the field… one fan got it to the fifty yard line..That’s true. But that’s not what bugs me. We had national writers, from coast to coast, who couldn’t wait to condemn the whole fanbase, because a fraction of our fanbase at the stadium got rowdy. There were even calls for our team to play in an empty stadium for the rest of the year. There was no perspective or restraint whatsoever. Everyone was indicted, even the fans sitting on their couches at home that night.
These other teams got a bit rowdy, and no one said a word. There may have been a difference of degree between the incidents, but the reaction was full-throated castigation vs crickets.
The only thing I can think of is. . . Joe Milton had perfect placement throwing the ball. The rain and soggy field slowed our players down a couple steps and made it look like Milton was trying to overthrow the local government.Hmmmm… I thought having receivers go deep is Heupel’s thing? I also thought the coaches were letting JM practice it? Surely they would have stopped him if they didn’t want him to.

A 2024 four-star recruit out of Ohio has called out Ohio State and his experience with the Buckeyes before committing to Michigan.
Offensive lineman Luke Hamilton from Avon High School was garnering attention from Ohio State, but when he arrived on campus, he was completely turned off by the Buckeyes.
MICHIGAN BEATING OHIO STATE PUT UP RECORD TV RATINGS
Hamilton recently spoke with the Lorain Morning Journal about a visit he took to Columbus. While he was admittedly nervous about the visit, he immediately recognized that he didn’t like the energy within the Ohio State program.
Hamilton went as far as to say that the Buckeyes haven’t prioritized any in-state recruits, which he called “stupid.”
“As soon as I walked in the door, I could tell there was not good energy,” Hamilton said. “(Ohio State) did this to all of the in-state (recruits). They put us on the back burner and will wait until the last second, because they think they have us committed there if they offer, which I think is totally stupid.”
“That is not how that works at all. I’ve talked to linemen all around Cleveland and people that I know and they all feel the same way. I think Ohio State is taking too long and I don’t think they are doing it right (at this time).”

The ole miss game the scene was crazier than anything I had seen….. cheerleaders/players/coaches being hit…. Having take all the cheerleaders off the field…. Players moved to the middle of the field….. fans hurt by thrown objects…. Fans tackling other fans in the stands…. This went on for fifteen or twenty minutes.
That’s who we are…. The rowdiest, most passionate fans in college football….. I don’t particularly like what happened at that game but I wear it as a badge of honor.
He won quite a bit at bowling green and Utah before they became a P5 team. The thing that people are overlooking is Urban only wins because of superior talent. He knows that deep down, and isn't trying to take a group of 5 team into a P5 conference. Urban will coach again, but it will be a cushy gig.
