Ok I KNOW you can do math. Go read post 38,820Wait til the inflationary wage rates really kick in; it's going to get real ugly. There's apparently a whole lot of credit card debt, too little in savings, and cost of housing (which isn't on the chart) appears to have gone through the roof for people who don't own a home bought before property skyrocketed and mortgage and rental rates took off.
Keep in mind that credit card debt doesn’t include debt from buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) programs that are hugely popular amongst the younger generations. That’s a whole new category of debt that isn’t widely tracked and reported and didn’t even exist until recent years.Wait til the inflationary wage rates really kick in; it's going to get real ugly. When they upped the age to 65 from 60 (about 10...12 years ago) they did just that. Then after collecting the data, they decided it wasn't necessary. So, to answer your question.. I'm 62, but no grandchildren required to monitor me.Are you at the age that you have to have a kid in the cockpit with you because they are afraid two old farts up there might croak?
