Nah, those aren't my words. I never said our prospects were bleak. I never made that claim. I said Milton looked more or less the same as he did last year, in particular his velocity and touch, and people shouldn't read so much into his play at the end of games this year. And got grief over it. Do I enjoy that I was making what I think is a reasonable claim? Sure. Do I enjoy "being right about our qb prospects looking bleak"? Not at all. I don't even agree with that assertion.

Talking realistically about the apparent strengths and weaknesses of our players isn't being negative, it's just being realistic.

I've never seen an offense use repeated deep ball overthrows to loosen a defense up for +50yard TD runs between the tackles like we did in the 3rd QT.
