I don’t see Hyatt being a difference maker in the NFL at this time. Now if he had mad skills in the return game. Then he has more in the beginning to offer a NFL team. That being said I don’t think he will get a first round feedback. He’s a true junior in college and he needs more time in the weight room. In my opinion I think when and if Cedric Tillman gets completely healthy. He’s more built for the NFL at this time when comparing the two. Hyatt needs another year but it’s his life and needs and not mine.

My statement had nothing to do with his readiness. He's starting to show up in the first round on mock pre-draft boards. It's possible that he gets good feedback because he's 20 pounds heavier than Devonta Smith was. If he runs a blazing 40 at the combine, someone will take him in the first round. The NFL is still enamored with speed and he has a year of SEC leading production.

Feels good to be getting talent in here. This was year 2. We don't have a lot of talent on defense. Everyone knows that. The best years for us are ahead. This was just the beginning. Gotta add more talent. '24 and '25 need to be as special as they look like they could be.

We need about 8 more Garner’s on staff with that fantastic recruiting ability. He’s always hit it out of the park with recruits
