I'm young....... he looked like an idiot. If you're consistently getting dunked on you don't have the right to trash talk. I promise you Haddan's teammates thought he looked like an idiot too.

Honestly as a longtime DB coach, I want guys who don't care what you or their teammates think. Of all the things to be upset about by the game, his trash talk doesn't even make the list for me.

Idk man. I’ve been in some pretty competitive environments. There were talkers. They talked no matter what. It’s part of their game. It’s what motivates them.

When I played sports…. I talked all the time…. Much better at trash talk than I was at playing the game…. It helped me stay engaged and not worrying about failure…. It is a bad look though when you are getting whipped like he was though.

I avoided Volnation yesterday. My heart just couldn’t take it. Every one of us would have taken 9-2 at this point with a win over Bama before the season, but to lose with what all was at stake to USCjr was devastating. Not that we lost 35-31 type game, but we just got embarrassed. I’ve turned the page. It’s been a great season. I’m afraid next year won’t be as magical, but at least I feel like we are still capable of being great again. Beat Vandy. Recruit like heck and work the portal. Hopefully finish in the top 8. Probably have some coaching changes. Coach them up for next season.

Go Vols!

I couldn’t believe the hurtful posts I’ve seen about Hooker’s injury on social media. For all of the posts about Hooker’s torn ACL on Facebook, there were a select few “laugh emoji” responses and I clicked on the profiles and most were Georgia fans. Celebrating an injury is absolutely poor taste.

That just shows you how insecure they are. I really think in their tiny little minds that "if" we had played them on a neutral field they would have been beat. They need to remember as well that this offense has shown to be very effective in the past at different places and in Knoxville CJH has the opportunity to get talent he has never been able to recruit in the past and that worries them....A LOT. We will see them again and I feel certain that they are worried ....very worried. They know deep down they will have to..........

Hire a new DC UT is 72nd in defensive efficiency 11th/14 in the SEC
Missouri is 18th 4th/14 in the SEC
Mississippi State is 21st 6th/14 in the SEC State's advanced numbers are good too, Their offense just leaves them in bad spots in field position all too much
Both coordinators are very aggressive which would match UT's Offensive goals as well The Missouri one is alittle more proven on the recruiting trail though. I dont think you could go wrong with either, both very well respected in the coaching industry. Nevertheless something will change

Heard back from guy but don’t have a lot of details:

There was a confrontation between Hooker and Banks….. Milton helped break it up but didn’t punch anyone…. Interesting story from last year….. Banks got into it with a trainer and picked him up in the air and pinned him against the wall before it was broken up.

Strangely, when the news hit yesterday about Hooker, it helped me get through the "puke and rally" cycle. This team has done some great things, and I really don't want them to feel like the fanbase takes it for granted or has abandoned them. If you have a ticket to the Vandy game, be there and support these players. If you're thinking about going, do it! Ticket prices have dropped down below $100. V,B

You may not know but where we ranked before saturdays game?

We punted 6 times and lost a fumble lol the offense didn't show up

Yeah, we're saying the same thing here man. Pitt shutdown our running game, they held us to the lowest total of the season (less than Georgia even) which effectively shutdown what our offense needs to do well to win going away.

I already highlighted this in a previous post. We don't win games with out passing game. Pitt was the only time this year where we ran for 30 attempts or more and had fewer than 4 YPC where we won. The defense didn't win the game for us though, with a backup in playing the 2nd half they gave up 10 in the 4th quarter to allow it to go to OT to begin with. 24-17 coming outta half and their 4th quarter collapse lead to us being in a OT game to begin with.

Pitt isn't a game to point at and say "our defense played well" imo. But our offense did struggle, especially in the running game Wright was effective but also had a costly fumble that left him on the bench for the rest of the game.

You took the under on Mahomes passing yards? You deserved to lose. That was the cog in my winning +650 parlay last night. Never take the under with Mahomes.
It showed lower points in a close game and less offense from both sides. It was damn near right. You were just as lucky to win over 324.5yds as I was unlucky losing.

if true, pretty stupid considering you were given a chance to be on the team after being kicked off once before.

I still think the defense won the game. That strip sack at the end of the first half was huge. They scored 1 TD in the second off essentially a hail-mary throw and completely shut them down in OT.
