I still say the committee wants a 2 OSU- 3 UT match up in the semis
This is what I’ve been wanting. Also it puts the top 2 Heisman finalists together, battling it out to lead their team to the cfp championship game.

Perfect!

Edit: Was reminded Heisman is before championship game. None the less…

I’ve never seen a guy who the media wants to see succeed more than Shane Beamer.

That “Shane Beamer Coaching DNA” graphic might be the most shameless thing I’ve ever seen on an ESPN broadcast. And there’s a lot of competition for that honor.
Uno, dos tres, quatro, cinco, cinco, seis.

We called this Slip-Stream but still fun to see from the ground.

If you wanted to win the Heisman back then…. You had to market your players…. Tennessee didn’t do a good job of that….. compare that to Michigan who ran all kinds of hype campaigns for Desmond Howard… They would also literally get the ball to the 2 yard…. Throw the ball to Desmond to pad those stats….. he didn’t even have 1,000 yds receiving but had 19 TDs.

I wish we would use our social media team to hype up Hendon or Hyatt for the Heisman.

Desmond deserved it at least and he was 11th in receiving yards and 1st in TDs that year so padding those stats helped.

1165 yards from scrimmage and 21 TDs
694 return yards and 2 TDs

Honestly I think if we legit want a shot at the Heisman this year then we need to feed Hyatt. DeVonta Smith won it with 98 receptions 1511 yards 17 TDs

Hyatt has 40 less receptions, 395 less yards, and 2 less TDs

So if Hyatt finishes the season with 1500+ yards and 18 or more TDs I think he's gonna have a shot (especially since he could lead the country in both categories)

Oregon dropped 6 spots, Ole Miss dropped 3.

So if that continues to hold true it should mean Michigan (3rd) losing will drop them to 6th or worse. At this point the CFP has punished pretty evenly for a loss, 3 or more spots dropped depending on who you lose to.
Didn't apply to UCLA which helps USC should they win.

Ready to see the finalists released. Obviously Hyatt will make it. Marvin Harrison Jr is the media darling.

Marvin Harrison Jr has had a strong year but his numbers don’t match Hyatt. If Hyatt keeps producing like he should then I don’t see him catching Hyatt.

He’s ~200 yards less than Hyatt.
He has 4 less TDs.
His yards per reception is a full 3 yards less.
He averaging 15 yards less per game.
He has about the same amount of catches.. 2 more than Hyatt.

If these gaps in stats stay about the same and Marvin Harrison Jr wins, then he would be winning on last name alone.
