Yeah, and I get that but at least our helmets are all basically the same helmet just in a different official school color (well black isn't official but it's been unofficial a long time).

If we start having a different helmet a week with a different logo, then we can start complaining about being too Oregon.

I think they're trying to minimize the orange elsewhere because the orange is SLIGHTLY off between the jerseys and the helmets. The same issue happened last week With Ole miss and it was noticable. The Helmet is just clearly darker than the jersey

One Away game was stormtroopers, one away game was smokey gray and the other Away game had orange pants....unless you're talking about fans. Personally I prefer the Stormtroopers and I prefer the white helmet but this helmet looks good.

Clemson has the same problem; the orange on their helmet doesn't match their jersey. Though I think because their shade of orange is darker they have the opposite problem as us; the contrast looks worse during the day and better at night.

I'm normally a fan of alternate unis, but I hate this lol

Glad I'm in the minority though. Hope the players enjoy

Color in different mediums is a lot harder than people realize.

Its honestly probably an issue with the different materials that causes the mismatch even though they're the exact same pigments.
