There are definitely similarities between the Russian TV pundits and our resident Stooges.

I'm no mental health expert, but from a technical psychological perspective I believe they're all "BAT SH*T CRAZY".

Of all the Baltic countries, Poland seems the most loaded for bear these days.

Watch em file an Article 5 with NATO. And whhhammmmyyyyy we got WW3.

EDIT: They won't... if it's only 1 missile.

I don’t think they’ll go Article 5 over this but might in the future if this escalates.

A couple of points on this. 1) it was multiple missiles 2) they hit 3 miles inside of Poland. If these were GPS guided weapons they hit what they were shooting at. Multiple GPS weapons don’t miss by 3 miles.

Dang. That's pretty far in.

Odds are that the missile was tracked, so if true, there's a record.

Putin would be wise to get on the horn with Warsaw ASAP, apologize, and send reparations for the dead.

The last thing he (should) want right now is NATO intervention. I don't see him surviving that in any scenario.

I think Putin gets a strongly worded missive. And the Poles will determine what they want to do once they get his response.

If Putin parrots his propaganda mouth pieces right now and gets all abusive husband on them too the poles may not wait around.

Lol point taken. But to have multiple missiles strike close together 3 miles inside Poland they hit what they were shooting at or some moron put in the wrong coordinates. Or some moron with a suicide wish is trying to start WW3

Oh I think the Poles are gonna shoot back. It’s just a matter of what/where and if Pootin can take the kick in the balls and move on or not.

Yeah as a minimum I’d guess the Poles take out the launch point. And I’m very confident there are enough NATO AWACS or other tactical monitoring aircraft in the area to know exactly where the launch originated from.

Per AP:

"Russian state media organ TASS labeled the reported incident a provocation and insisted there had been no Russian involvement."

If Putin is dumb enough to go that route, all bets are off.

That better not be the first response by the Poles. It's one thing if that comes after some failed diplomacy, but if it's just fire the missiles and they hit a high value target things get spicy fast.

Oh I do think they will be deliberate and proceed with a well informed response. But I don’t think there’s any way they don’t shoot back at some point.

Now I'm reading that TWO missiles hit in Poland. Possibly 15 miles in.

One can be chalked up as a mistake, but two? And 15 miles? SMH.

This sh*t already has a Wikipedia page BTW.

Shortly after the alleged strike, the U.S. Department of Defense acknowledged reports that two Russian missiles struck a location inside Poland near its Ukrainian border, though it could not confirm them.

EDIT, Per AP:

Polish government spokesman Piotr Mueller did not immediately confirm the information from a senior U.S. intelligence official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the situation.

A second person confirmed that apparent Russian missiles struck a site in Poland about 15 miles from the Ukrainian border.

Something a friend just brought up is Ukrainian Anti Air defenses may have knocked them off course. But two strikes getting "pushed" into the same patch of Poland seems a stretch
