I think at one point UT had the most consecutive sellouts. Ended in 2008 I think, maybe earlier.Don't have figures pre-2009, but I have yet to see a season with more than 4 sellouts across our home games during that time.
This year we had SIX sellouts (out of seven, Ball St opener being the exception)...
Win and they will volunteer to come...
This is based off of history, but it's not far fetched to believe he will be improved his third year being coach by Heupel. He will have a firm grasped of the offense and an understanding of what to do. I understand being skeptical until he shows what he can doWhile I would like to believe this - I believe it is sprinkled in Orange pixie dust. I predict he plays like the Florida QB plays - some good games and some not so good games. I don't think he understands reading defenses - he isn't even close to being on the same level mentally as Hooker.
Recruiting was a big reason CJH let the players keep playing. Programs are negative recruiting UT, claiming UT's success is all about Hooker and not sustainable without him. The coaches planned on playing Milton and letting him throw and run the offense with younger players to show that UT has built an elite program with staying power.
Once Milton was in, they were going to let him have his shot. It was the last home game, and the starters were out. These days, coaches have to recruit against the portal, as well as from it.
I think it’ll be somewhere in the middle between the 2. He looked solid at Michigan and was only horrible last year on deep balls and that one play against Ole Miss. I think the offense is slightly different next year though. Because Heupel tweaked the offense significantly from the Pitt game to the Missouri game last season as it became Hooker’s job. I think we get a lot more zone reads and QB powers next season and attack the middle of the field more on deep balls. Milton seems to be more comfortable throwing posts and seam/fade routes than fly routes like he missed on so much last year. It’s always been apparent that Richardson wasn’t very good from a footwork and accuracy (all throws) standpoint, but Milton seems to have progressed significantly on his deep ball and not becoming a statue in the pocket. Hopefully we route Diet USC and Vandy the next 2 weeks so he can get more repsWhile I would like to believe this - I believe it is sprinkled in Orange pixie dust. "Fair amount of DIVERSITY".."Guise, we just need a whole new roster and staff...then we'll be competing for championships..."
