100%. If they beat UCLA, ND, and Oregon/Utah their paper resume coupled with a ESPN's desire the have the west coast markets will make it an uphill battle for us to make CFP. We need either OSU or Michigan to beat decisively.Matt Leinart lobbying for a potential 1-loss Pac 12 champ USC to make the playoff.
And unfortunately since USC is a brand and has Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams and it’s the west coast, they’ll get some favoritism by the committee if they run the table the rest of the way. We need them to go down as well.
Their path to the playoff picks is harder then ours right now-- Bama and LSU need to keep on winning and TCU needs to lose. Beating two top 10 teams and our only loss at Georgia is a strong resume. Kentucky had to shat the bed, but Pitt and Florida seem to have woken up. Also, TV had the three top ratings this year when we were playing. That said, I realize we will probably not make it in even if we do deserve it more.100%. Flowers and McCullough were significantly better in coverage under Pruitt and Ansley than they are now
