Degrom threw 64 innings this year... Verlander threw 175. Degrom has thrown 100 innings in 3 years. He's not trustable enough to pay 40million to.

From what ive seen we sent 10 mil with Jake... so net savings of 2 mil

Actually saved more since we paid Odorizzi $5.5 M for 1/2 year after dumping the remainder of the $13M we were paying Will Smith in the trade. Net savings of $4-5M.
