Our defense needs to run through the QB there instead of diving at his feet. Force him to make a difficult throw, throw it away, or take a sack. Diving at his feet only gives him the opportunity to escape if they miss.I hope we can recruit these studs. As a poster said above, our guys were in position on offense and defense. We were just out talented. We need more dudes. That Bennett missed tackle for a house call was prime example. Need a talent infusion

If we get the chance to play Georgia again, I would love for our entire defense to McGregor strut after every Bennett sack. I don't mind confidence and even cockiness, but his smugness is annoying as hell.
Top-3 talent vs #19?? Naww surely notGeorgia definitely looked like they had the better athletes
Agree Mizzou is our last best hurdle. But we sure didn't beat them by only 4 last yearAgreed. We only beat Mizzou by 4 last year. Plus, GA only beat them by 4 this year, FL beat them by 7, and KY beat them by 4. This game may be closer than some would like. If we start counting our chickens before they hatch, the eggs may be taken from our basket.
Team needs to stay focused and take care of business.
Me too...I was prepared for a loss, but I was not prepared for being embarrassed....plus I f'n hate Georgia and Kirby Smart. This is all correct and I’m a little disappointed with myself to be feeling as down as I do today. Not as down as I did after Purdue or UGA 2020. I should be giddy this is such a good season and a strong finish will likely restore those feelings, but dadgummit I think the Vols are good enough to have competed better than they did and I’m just bummed we sorta fell flat.
Beat Mizzou bad and I’ll be back to feeling good though, I think. Just take care of business.
No. It was either an incomplete forward pass or a safety. Looked like a pretty clear pass to me as he lost the ball as his arm was going forward. It seems like the officials didn't want to make either team unhappy there and split the difference calling it the one thing it couldn't have been.Has anyone figured out how they didnt call a safety on that review?
Agree though I'd even put Michigan over OSU. Michigan WHIPPED PSU, while OSU struggled. OSU again struggled vs an AWFUL team, which Michigan is yet to do.My best guess at the CFP rankings this week (I’m sure everyone will agree 100% and we will all get along and be civil about it):
1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Michigan
4. Tennessee
5. TCU
6. Oregon
7. LSU
8. Ole Miss
We have to narrow the talent gap too...we are working on it. I can't wait to see the West Joseph's, Pearce and Herrring etc etc defense we put on the field in a couple of years. That one won't be fun to play against after three years of S&C and experience.Really is crazy the fork in the road that UGA and Bama took since Kirby has been at UGA. Do they still have that S&C coach that Kirby took from Bama too?
Georgia would easily beat Bama this year.
And TTU’s QB got hurt…. Same when they played Kansas. Luckiest undefeated teamAgree though I'd even put Michigan over OSU. Michigan WHIPPED PSU, while OSU struggled. OSU again struggled vs an AWFUL team, which Michigan is yet to do.
I'd also leave TCU behind UT. They absolutely struggled to beat a measly 4-5 Texas Tech team.
