I almost feel sorry for our remaining opponents. Heupel is gonna make a point. Lots of them, actually.

Would also be interesting to see what a Peach Bowl against UGA would look like. Indoor (no weather) with a more balanced crowd, and a chance to right the wrong.
I would love for us to blow Mizzou off the field in a "get off the mat" spot at noon in Neyland for Senior Day. Start this last trio off right and see it through to Thanksgiving weekend where we will checker Vandy for good measure.

Ready to get this party back on track and have some more fun while we can still enjoy whatever this beautiful diamond of a season has been and will be.

So it's all but confirmed that Kirby or his staff put this out there this week, right?

“I won’t be surprised if Tennessee scores 50,” one coach said. “Georgia’s front is average. Their back end is below average. They really miss William Poole [who left the team early in September]. I don’t think their corners are special. The [Kelee] Ringo kid, he doesn’t run nearly as well as you’d expect. The others are just OK. They’re going to run right by those corners.”

Long post incoming:

Just looking at the drive chart and it's clear just how many times we shot ourselves in the foot on offense. Did UGA defense play lights out? Yes. Did the crowd noise really effect us? Absolutely, no doubt. Did we still have chances to be in the ball game and score? YES.

We had FOUR drives that were stalled just due to our OL false starting because of their crowd noise alone. One of those drives you could argue the other way as we actually got bailed out by that 4th down sack facemask penalty and then couldn't move the ball. We had 2 drives stall in the UGA redzone due to penalties alone. Hard to win any game with these type of issues.

But just look at this drive chart:

FIRST HALF:

1st drive - Get a first down on 2 plays, false start on 1st and 15, get it to 3rd and 5, another false start. Have to take 3 points.

2nd drive - Get a first down on 2 plays, false start on 1st and 15. End up Punting.

3rd drive - 3 and out after endzone fumble disaster.

4th drive - 1st down on nice run on 1st down, then we punt after 3 straight plays.

5th drive - We start really moving the ball. best drive of the day... until we get to the UGA 9 yard line. 2 straight false starts on 3rd and 2 and suddenly, drive over after 3rd and 12 doesn't convert.

6th drive - we get a nice 1st down into UGA territory again.. but Hooker throws pick.

2ND HALF:

1st drive- Move the ball up to UGA 41.. give up 2 sacks in 3 plays. Have to punt.

2nd drive- Gets a first down and up to around midfield. FUMBLE. We get the ball back after 1 play.

3rd drive- Overcome another early false start, but move the ball AGAIN. Get down to UGA 17 yard line and it goes sack, false start, sack, false start, lucky facemask break. 4 straight plays after that we don't move the ball.

4th drive - FINALLY put together a complete drive with a really good catch on 4th to Hyatt. TD.

5th drive - Get a 1st down, 4 straight plays go no where. Game over.

The truth of the matter in this game is we killed ourselves just as much as UGA defense killed us. The crowd noise absolutely bothered us, 100%, and helped almost single handedly stall FOUR drives. Get this game to a neutral site field with us knowing now how they will game plan us, and us not completely *****ing the bed, and this offense CAN score on that defense.

Regarding the Bama one, LSU player absolutely did not have possession yet. There was no rewarding the Bama player, he just touched an unposessed ball while out of bounds so the play ended.

The mizzou play was just unfortunate. You have to protect punters, and he was punting. But 99% of the time the punter runs in that situation, so the mizzou player tackled instead of blocking. That was UF level of lucky for UK.
Feels like a rule change should be put it in if it’s snapped over their head.

Beat thing to do now is only watch the vols play on Saturday for the rest of the season
No reason to listen to the talking heads bc they are probably wrong and bias

Tennessee should be number 4 this week regardless and should win out putting them in no matter what

11-1 is an awesome year, best one since who knows with the players we have

Can’t wait to watch them in the playoffs or the sugar or orange bowl

Rough day yesterday guys/gals. We def got taken to the Train station.

Mistake after mistake, we just looked overmatched in every way.

Gotta just take it week to week from here on out and I think we still get to the playoffs.

Cannot look past Mizzo or SC
Kinda hard to overlook anyone now, the season is almost over

I’m most worried about Mizzou. Decent defense and if we have a hangover and struggle on offense it could be tight.
