Yeah, early we were throwing a lot of screens and then stopped. After the refs threw the flag for OPI even though they picked it up, we stopped.

I noticed that too… the one they called illegal formation on was the last one we called. Which is weird cuz it was working and even that play woulda went for a first down

Georgia did a great job with their game plan… really disappointed with how our oline played today. Was expecting more, especially with how they played vs bama and LSU. When you’re able to have 5 and 6 DB’s on the field every play and still stop the run and get pressure it’s hard to find an open receiver

Georgia had not blitzed at all this year. They took the last two weeks of practice (plus they worked on it specifically in the offseason unless you think they are lying) to install a defensive package specifically designed for us, and could get aeay with it because Florida has absolutely quit and Kirby knew it.

We had no such luxury of extra preparation time for Georgia. I also seriously doubt that Heupel and Golesh thought Kirby would do so much differently specifically for us that they have not shown all year. It was an oversight, but I don't think it ever happens again.

I give Kirby credit for this...he knew we were their competition this year.
