Hopefully, Benedict got something out of it, too. I was glad to see that C-N players and coach felt that their experience against us was relatively positive and will help them with their conference play.

Looking forward to the matchup between two healthy Gamecocks and Lady Vols teams. Hope it's #1 vs. #2 like this coming weekend's fbll game.

I think Olivia, Sania, and Bree will be contributiors for the team this year. All will have roles they can thrive in IMO.

Nothing personal im just tired of posters coming here throwing a rock and hiding their hand. If you know you cannot say whom the player is why give tidbits about it at all ?

You gave names specifically then if that was you who gave that tidbit . Thats a big difference ,Also no one here thought Rickea was coming 100% confidently , the shock and excitement of surprise the day she committed proves that but you know this board is going to ask specifics but everyone is not the same so no faults here . Tidbits with no name is hard to take factually for me personally that's all. Everyone else have at it ..

So basically what you mean to say is you want me to say the person because it's bothering you 😂

It does not bother me at all , im just calling it out and wanting to keep the real LV fans from getting in a frenzy as usual when someone comes here and drops a nuggett and then we lose out and play the blame game. Dont you think enough of that has went around here this past offseason ? I want you to be specific and not start wild fires without substance or receipts . That's what factual resources do . I could say and post everything you have posted about the decomitt of the player and yet not use any facts but nuggets to make it believable about anyone in the women's game right now. I can sit here and say i know Jaloni Cambridge has secretly verballed to tennessee just with words and wildfire of questions will begin coming ....see how easy it is to make up something and sound factual ? I only asked for receipts and that turned you into a "Oh well sorry i cant do that" "sorry this bothers you" lol . What's hard about proving your knowledge is resourceful and true ?

I think expecting receipts on every bit of gossip is asking too much. Just speculate and guess like the rest of us, or don't! This wasn't inside info about our program, so there's no need for receipts anyway, imo.

and again NO i'm not specifically saying the players name LOL ... so think it's true or made up i don't care.

BUT let me be very clear chill with the policing my post crap like i'm a $#!+ starter. Don't put me in that boat. Because that's what you are insinuating whether you realize it or not.

I said what i said and just because you didn't like what i said now you throwing a fit claiming it's not bothering you. If it isn't bothering you DROP the topic. Be grown enough to read what you wanna read and ignore the rest. Or better yet put me and my fictional nuggets on ignore.

Also, the real LV fans should be able to tell intent of people's posts without thinking it's meant to harm or bash or do anything negative. Those who are going to want to do those things are going to do them with or without what others post. I haven't always been sunshine and rainbows on here but when i critique or make a comment it's not meant with any malice.

I also have stood up for the LVs when others have talked about their looks, gotten personal about players, or talked about their stances on certain issues.

So if we lose out we lose out on a recruit. I WANT ELITE RECRUITS. But i'm not going to bash this staff because they brought in 4 elite transfer recruits over the summer. If anyone on here takes what i said and uses it as a negative AS A TRUE LV FAN YOURSELF (i think) you should know intent and be able to speak up or ignore it.

Now, if you want to keep pouring energy into this I got time. But since this is NON-LV basketball related news try to stay on topic and im sure other posters would love to hear what you have to contribute to this thread other than what's been discussed...

70 of those points came in the paint. Expect that to look very different against Tennessee. Ohio State would have to shoot lights out to beat us and I don't think that is gonna happen. The best thing that could happen to the Lady Vols was that first quarter against Carson Newman and giving up open looks. You know what this week's practice was focused on......I'm sure it was on ball defense, matching up faster and Probably rebounding. This is going to be a good opener, but Tennessee should run away with it.

Just watched. While Carson-Newman were overmatched… This is different by a mile. Lots of unforced turnovers and completely outsized and skilled.. CN is actually a good D2 team. Ohio State actually didn’t look overly impressive but they have good players. I think we win by 15-20 and almost everyone potentially plays again. At least 6-7 minutes.

Our guard play is led by Powell who is going to HAWK Sheldon down. Cotie McMahon is good but Jordy or Rickea are going to introduce her to college ball.
