Florida will always have that advantage. You can’t throw a dead cat down there without knocking out your limit on blue chippers. It is what it is. Good thing for us is we finally have a coach who can out scheme them with 3star talent. Imagine what this team looks like when our 4/5 stars are in place. We’re being out recruited by Florida. That’s frustrating.
It’s a very good school and they have a good football team for the division they play in. Maybe he just felt it was a good fit for him personally and he knows that the NFL will find you no matter where you go if you have the skill.
We gotta get those 4/5 stars tho maneFlorida will always have that advantage. You can’t throw a dead cat down there without knocking out your limit on blue chippers. It is what it is. Oh, and I really like our defensive haul this year. That’s gonna pay dividends.
We're not done with the '23 class. You listen to AP and read volquest
You know it’s helping with the 24 class and you know we are pretty much done for the 23 class
quit being so dramatic bass
Not trying to be a jerk bass, I know your concerned but relax
It takes time especially when your instate recruits don’t like UT
Fist time we have seen actual player development in 12 years.Everybody talks about the scheme, and Heup and his guys are really great at that...but in my opinion what sets them apart from other good offensive coaching staffs is teaching great execution.
It doesn't matter how great your scheme is if your team falls all over themselves around like the Keystone cops.
I really don't get the frustration at all. When this recruiting class were sophomores, we were a 3-7 team with an idiot for a head coach. When they were juniors, we were a 7-6 team with a new coach. Nothing really exciting about that. Those two years are where relationships are built. It has to be hard to overcome years' long relationships in just a few months. Our coaches and our performance on the field this year is getting the attention of the 24 and 25 kids. Now that we have good coaches in place and are getting the national attention, we have to be patient and just enjoy the ride.
