Well that’s really moot now isn’t it since the new guy can do whatever he wants can’t he?I suppose it wasn't a no-brainer for Twitter to drop the suit for a "better environment moving forward." LOL
Turns out suing on principle and/or to get the outcome you want sometimes makes more sense than trying to pacify a situation.
So odds of the Twitter suit against Musk going forward if the “new CEO” determines that is not in the best interests of the company?![]()
How many times have we heard the liberals say, "they're a private company, they can do anything they want" when referring to social media? So is TikTok going to be the new face of the democratic party?Well that’s really moot now isn’t it since the new guy can do whatever he wants can’t he?
So if the new CEO continues with the suit and wins who does Musk pay? Asking for another friend![]()
Clown take. Musk already reinstated his intention to close the deal. To quote his legal team “Twitter won’t take yes for an answer”.Of course, you are in here trying to declare victory. Nobody said the suit would continue after the sale. It's never really mattered to you what's actually said in these exchanges. You deal in BS.
The whole interaction started with you saying it makes sense for them to drop it. I disagreed. They didn't drop the suit and got the result they wanted. I was right and you are in here being a smartass.
This is why you are on ignore.
It would be dumb as hell to shred a piece of property he paid $44B for. But I don’t think he pointed to massive staff cuts on a whim. So changes to the company? No I agree. Changes to staffing? Well thus far he’s followed thru I believe on everything he indicated he was gonna do? Admitted speculation on that part.I really doubt Musk makes any significant changes to the platform so I don't get why so many people are so butthurt.

I agree with that. And yeah on your other DOJ/SEC speculation I am going to guess the not so veiled threats are going to ramp up dramatically.I have no doubt about the staff reductions, I'd bet 75% of the twitter employees weren't needed in the first place. It's a good cost savings measure and will result in a bump in the stock price. I'm just doubting he'll make significant changes to the way twitter is moderated/censored/fact checked (whatever you call it) anytime soon.
