I honestly don’t care enough about this subject to discuss it any further… if the police thought he did enough to file charges then they should file charges… I really just want to talk about football.

IDK if it's been mentioned, but there's a real possibility that former NFL All-Pro WR Chad Johnson (yes, "Ocho Cinco") will be on the sidelines for next week's game against Kentucky. He's a huge fan of Jalin Hyatt, wants to meet him and get a signed jersey (according to Twitter). Can't hurt, right???

Had a TCU fan make these statements to me:

1: Max Duggan is a Heisman candidate and Hendon Hooker isn't.
2: The only team we've beaten with a pulse is Bama.
3: Vols are massively overrated, TCU is massively underrated.
4: TCU has played better competition over their last 3 games than the Vols have and plays more competitive teams on a more consistent level.
5: Sonny Dykes should be COTY over Josh Heupel.

I needed a good laugh today, figured y'all might, too.

I get our defense seems like it sucks. Would prefer we get our hands on passes. But we are strong where it benefits us the most, stalling running games, pressuring the QBs, and putting a lid on running QBs. Those things would seriously cripple us and shorten our time with the ball if we couldn’t stop it. Yes I know being good on offense isn’t mutually exclusive from being good on defense. But we will score on anybody. We are basically doing what the top 2 teams any year are doing… by a multiple of 2. Our games are on our growth hormones. It’s like two games in one.

No he is not, the media kissed his ass and the SEC kissed his ass today. If we play them again it will ge the worst screw job in Tennessee history. They will give them the game and let them embarrass us.

They will be calling critical drive killing penalties on us when we have the ball, and critical drive extending penalties on us when they have the ball....probably throwing a couple of our best defenders out for deigning to breathe on Young or Gibbs.

Ok….. thought you were approaching it from a different angle….. I was 24 in 1997…. ESPN did hype up the Big Ten bc that was the conference that they had an agreement with…. It wasn’t the sole/main reason he won though…. Michigan ran a huge Heisman Hype campaign for Woodson… They got him touchdowns via special teams…. As a wide receiver…. Running the football….On defense…. He also had 7 ints including an impressive one against Ohio State.

I follow football like crazy on social media and there are way more pumping us up than being negative against us. We even have ESPN personality Charles Woodson putting out videos showing him lighting up a celebratory cigar in our locker room…. My dad called me today talking about how surprised he was with all the praise Tennessee was getting as he was watching football today. It’s all about perspective, imo.

That was Desmond Howard lighting up a cigar. I don't think Woodson was at the game.

I'd be happy with a one-game suspension, even if it was against a crap team, and a public apology for his behavior. Also, I want Nick Saban to acknowledge it was wrong, and had nothing to do with "being afraid". He should issue a public apology as well. Admit the screw up rather than trying to blow it off or make excuses.

Beamer has that team at 5-2 and their supposed superstar transfer QB sucks. Damn, good coaching job, even if, he is pure cringe. Plus, technically, he is in the Fulmer coaching tree, iIrc. Vols still blow 'em out by 25. The defensive line will sack and force Rattler into turnovers, multiple times, while we hang half a hundred on 'em. Anyway, as of now, Beamer gets a "good job" from me, despite his schtick
