I get our defense seems like it sucks. Would prefer we get our hands on passes. But we are strong where it benefits us the most, stalling running games, pressuring the QBs, and putting a lid on running QBs. Those things would seriously cripple us and shorten our time with the ball if we couldn’t stop it. Yes I know being good on offense isn’t mutually exclusive from being good on defense. But we will score on anybody. We are basically doing what the top 2 teams any year are doing… by a multiple of 2. Our games are on our growth hormones. It’s like two games in one.

IDK if it's been mentioned, but there's a real possibility that former NFL All-Pro WR Chad Johnson (yes, "Ocho Cinco") will be on the sidelines for next week's game against Kentucky. SECN just put up up our pt total through the first 7 games. Tied with 2019 LSU.

The other 2 SEC teams (96 UF and 18 Bama were up there too). Of those 3 other teams, 2 of them won it all and the other lost in the title game)

I had asked how old you were in 1997. The media was all in on Charles Woodson that year for the Heisman. The VOLS had 1 loss to Florida during the season and the media held it against Peyton Manning. His stats that year and for his overall career warranted the trophy but he finished 2nd. Charles Woodson is the only defensive player to win the award but he wouldn't have, if the media didn't promote him like they did.

That's just 1 example. The narrative today was TN needs to win out to earn a playoff spot and the TN fans should not have stormed the field last week because it was dangerous for the Ala players.

ESPN creates talking points and narratives and when they try to make TN look bad, me and a lot of older fans take offense to it. And that was my point.
