To be fair, the first 2 1/2 quarters was almost entirely just Clemson’s offense self-destructing at the end of drives.

Their offense can be successful, but they’re playing a good defense…and they’re struggling with that aspect save 1 or 2 drives.

Against a middling defense, I can see the QB’s mobility+passing and the RB’s threat causing problems/difficulty.

I’ve seen coaches save the last timeout for their offense when there’s 2 minutes left. I don’t agree with it, but I’ve seen it. What I haven’t seen is a coach let 25 seconds run off the clock and then call timeout. Just got wishy-washy poor coaching.
