For the record My appraisal had NOTHING to do with his pink uni, watch his interviews, this kid has had 18yrs of the Cali public school system. Hooker published a children's book on scripture, the guys have prayed together and are unified. He is unifying team leader. I know how he was raised. However kids in Cali now have been raised to think of division, and controversy as superlatives. I'm telling ya I got bad vibes. Don't just argue with me, actually do a lil research and read up and watch his videos. Maybe I am wrong, but I am hardly a teetotler, or social conservative. I am a Hillbilly libertarian, whose partied his butt off and I accept every race, orientation, and herb as a friend.....but I know a divisive personality when I see it. I hope I'm wrong, and totally off base, and he's another Casey Clausen cali kid 2.0. Though as I recall Casey showed up a bit full of himself till he got knocked down a peg or two. I just know when we have a Hooker, Dobbs, T-Martin type we seem to get better team chemistry, and when we get flashy guys we get division.

Ehhh I dunno I watched a thing with his parents and It does make me feel better about him, they seem like good peeps. Course Kaepernicks parents were good people too. I wanna be wrong. I want him to be the greatest thing since Peyton Manning, and a solid role model, and worth 8 million NIL contract etc. I'll try to suppress my reservations on Cali producing anything decent right now. I just feel better when an athlete has southern mama, or grand mama that makes good cornbread, and puts the fear of God in them. What can I say, Walt Kowalski. is my spirit animal.

California is a giant colon that only produces turds but sometimes a turd is filled with undigested peanuts that can fuel strong muscles when combined with the right training. We just gotta hope we got us a peanut turd and not a plain ole turd.

Well, I’m gonna disagree with everything you say about California schools, UNLESS you have personal or immediate family experience with them, as I do.

But I do have some concerns about possible team chemistry, because “flashy guys” (good term) seem awfully look at MEMEMEMEMEEEE, which doesn’t sound great for QB leadership.

Like you, I hope I’m wrong.

I didn’t realize that you had so much personal knowledge of Cali from residence there.

Every state in this country has great things and not-so-great things going on (well, there’s Bama, I suppose.)

I never lived there myself but my mom’s parents lived in Castro Valley and had a place up near Mt Shasta where I spent a fair amount of time as a kid. And my aunt still lives in Sacramento, where I occasionally visit. There’s some good stuff there but the same could be said for Germany in the late 1930s. Just not enough good to outweigh the bad.
