Clemson is more of a paper Tiger that plays in a weak conference. With that said, one of the things they've done effectively is make it sound like a recruit must get in right away otherwise they are moving on. Some bite. Clemson may even commit to this tactic with a high level recruit or two so it really becomes "urban legend". If they start missing then they wouldn't do this too much longer.
