The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

I think Farley will be special teams only and only play defense if other people get hurt. It appears he just doesn’t have what it takes at least on this team.

NGL, I’m surprised to have a winning record. Did not expect it after the first two weeks. Here’s to hoping we can use this bye week to get some banged up guys healthy and maybe, possibly, make something of this season.

The division is thoroughly trash. If we’re not gonna suck bad enough to get a blue chip draft pick, F it, I hope we take the division again.

Our O-line is straight garbage though. That will single-handedly put a question mark on literally every game. Nothing is gonna be pretty with this team. They will have to fight and claw like this for every single win.

I'm not sure, I think he still has an outside shot at contributing but it isn't clicking yet. He looks conflicted instead of playing free. He's hesitant. Maybe he didn't have it between the ears....I don't know.

Gotta admit..I thought Farley would be a player..Should of seen the red flags, but really, he hasn't played competitive football on a consistent basis for a long time due to injury., and certainly not in NFL. He has a few more years to get it together, on another team.

Titans org making their own case for the downward trend in performance. 🤪

Dare to Compare? After Five Games, Comparing the 3-2 Titans of 2022 to the 3-2 Titans of 2021

The look of a 0-5 or 1-4 team that somehow is 3-2 playing against other crap teams. With Tart leading the defense in PBU's. How does Todd Downing still have a job today?

And could easily be 4-1. There seems to be a lot of bad teams in the league this year. Nobody is really dominating especially in the AFC.

I'll be honest, I thought Downing did a great job of masking and working around a very, very bad offensive line Sunday. It was ugly early and he made some adjustments. Easily his best coaching job this season.

They just don't have the horses up front to play how they want to. After watching the last few games and strictly watching the o line play I'm not sure my criticism of Downing has been fair. Not saying he is a very good or great OC but he's been given practice and back up squad players at three positions on the o line and told to make due. They need to get help there right away. My faith in JRob is gone.

As much as I would like to agree, I can't. No real adjustments after half time to score points, which is the job. I don't blame the personnel problems on him. The O-line issues are ridiculous. Which means the OC has to innovate and change. The total points scored in the second half of games on the season is probably the worst in the NFL. Total of 14 points in the second half of 5 games. That guy is not adjusting scheme or play calling.

Agree about J-Rob.

EDIT: When I think about the number of quality O-linemen that could have been taken by J-Rob in rounds 3-7 that are starting and playing significant snaps all across the league it makes me physically sick. Absolute crap starting at LG and and now LT. A C nearing retirement. Nothing in the wings ready to take over. Radunz being used as a utility G in his second season.

Trey Smith being drafted in the 6th round and starting as a rookie for KC as an example. Nope - not what J-Rob wanted. Disgusting.

Welp, the game at KC in 3 weeks just got bigger.

I fully expect to be on 5 game win streak going into Arrowhead. Should be a matchup of 5-2 teams with the #2 seed on the line.
