Have you seen the state of Russian retreats? They are not organized withdrawals they have left behind equipment to Ukrainian forces at each step of the process. Forgot which site it was but an Ukrainian light infantry unit has now become a mechanized battalion thanks to the tanks and IFVs that they've captured from Russia.

As for your second point I don't know how anyone can demand peace talks on Ukraine when they have been the ones invaded. They have seen their hospitals and power stations destroyed, mothers, wives, and sisters raped, fathers and brothers dumped in mass graves, and their land forcibly annexed. I don't know if you even put yourself in their shoes but if the US was in the situation that Ukraine is I would hope we wouldn't lay down arms and negotiate the end of our country.

Russia seems to be losing almost a plane a day of late. How long can this continue? And are these old planes or some of their top planes?

Edit: Scratch that. I see that this is old Soviet crap from the early 1980s

It looks like with the Comedian in charge its going to keep going until the last Ukrainian or the whole country looks like a Walmart parking lot.

The ant hill counting here is kind of funny. Nobody really cares about the ants.

You don't want to get me started on KSA. **** the royals. **** anyone who deals with them and **** anyone who covers for their crimes against women and anyone else.

What you're glossing over here is I've stated ITT that the US and Russia both are more responsible for death and suffering around the world than any other nations on Earth. You can probably throw China in the mix, but the **** that happened in the cold war across the world was some seriously dark **** all in the name of the paranoia and fear between the two.

Nothing is ever going to get any better if these two countries don't stop using the other to juatify their own misdeeds. But you go on ahead and keep blaming the US for everything Russia does. Keep using the KSA as a counterpoint to absolve the crimes of Iran. I'll just keep saying **** 'em all.

The Comedian will sell his men to the USA for as long as the USA buys them. Ukrainian men are playing the same role South Korean men played in Vietnam in the early 1970s after American ground soldiers fled back home.

Although the amount of total money put into Afghanistan will be much higher, my guess is the ROI is going to be much higher in the Ukraine for US and Ukrainian politicians.

The Ukrainians are expendable ants at best, hopefully someone can save a few of those women... hot. Hot women only get you so much.

If it achieves a strategic objective it's a military target. Determining the validity of the strategic objective only comes after the war, and is done by the winner. If Russia wins it's all good. If Ukraine wins it's a war crime.

Shock and Awe hit military targets. I would hardly consider taking out civilian internet and power a war crime.

Considering we havent done the first two in 80 years, and the third in 50 years it seems like we figured out those were bad, and we stopped. So you dont have a moral high ground to stand on here.

And I dont see the wide spread rape going on like Russia has. And we policed those fairly well ourselves. Over the last decade 2010-2020, there were 3300ish cases with 1200ish convictions. I am sure some guilty got away, and some innocent got found guilty, military court doesnt work like civilian courts. You think Russia will get anywhere close to that ratio? Reflections on Court-Martial Numbers

Dude even you were admitting that Russia lost a metric crap ton of its tanks early on. They didnt do a good job of maintaining those materials. It was so bad they are digging out t-62s.

Ukraine always had fewer numbers of tanks and planes. Why would you expect them to be able to deploy the same number as Russia? Or take the fact that they deploy fewer as a sign they are losing? It's just a fact. Ukraine didnt have the heavy equipment Russia had at the start, and probably still dont now. And most of what Ukraine had they have captured, and not been given.

About the same as if President Park hadn't sold his men to American politicians and pocketed most of the money.

The Philippine, Laotian, and Cambodian governments sold troops to the American government to fight the USA's war in Vietnam so Americans could stay home, and they're still deeply impoverished. Japan didn't furnish troops to fight the USA's war in Vietnam, and the Japanese enjoy a much higher median net worth than South Koreans and Americans.

I would love to see our government get back to having to declare war before they can deploy any offensive measures. Way too much gets by because it's easy.
