This comes straight from someone I know inside the program that I talked with tonight. This person loves the program and does not have an ax to grind with the program or Napier. Has everything to gain if Napier and staff came in and did a great job. Having said that, here is what was said.
Coach BN is in way over his head.
Things are chaotic right now because everything is so unorganized. Everyone is on different pages. Not just the team but the football program as a whole.
CBN told the team he has given up on this year. I asked if he actually used the words “given up”. I was told no he did not say those words exactly but that is what he was insinuating and the team knew it.
Said the O changes their entire terminology weekly so it’s like having to learn a new playbook every week.
Said they had a terrible week of practice.
Said that he thought only 4 seniors traveled to UT. (Said he was not 100% this is true but as of the initial travel roster, it’s what was listed)
players are not on board with how things are being handled now.
I asked if their QB was as dumb (I told him I was not trying to be mean but I didn’t know how else to phrase the question) as he seemed when watching him play or was how CBN implementing the O just making him seem that way. He said it was a mixture of both.
“There is no way our D will be able to keep up with the speed of that O tomorrow”. Direct quote.

I was very suprised by our conversation. One of the most upbeat people I know and I have never heard him say a negative thing towards anyone. He looked almost like he was in disbelief as he was telling me this. Again, this was not something that he had heard from people but things that he has seen while being a part of the UF football program. Take this for what it’s worth but just passing along.

He doesn’t support rape
While joking about it is not exactly right
He is joking and that’s not a criminal offense
People need to move on and quit trying to ban him bc there feelings are hurt
He does have freedoms regardless of if they offend people
That’s like me saying I do t like your big green F and your question in your avi offends me bc I don’t think you need to ask me what I’ve done for the university

Around the 2:00 min mark when he talks about the way some of us Vol fans acted and rolled our eyes. I was one but after Kiffin, Dooley, Jones, and Pruitt, what fan wouldn't have rolled their eyes when CH was hired? Its not like we had any trust in the Admin after 10 years of miss firing. I felt Coach Hype was hired because coaches didn't want to touch us which I understood that but after just one season of football CH has proven in just a short time that he is the right man for the job. So happy to have Coach Hype and Danny White but not sure how that guy thought how we were suppose to respond after so many years of failure.
