The Official #15 Tennessee vs. Akron Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN+/SEC Network+

I am so not seeing some of these penalty calls on Tennessee. *sigh* Time to get out the French's Mustard.
Have some class . . . .

Quality teams only throw

Yes one was a live ball fouls that gave Akron an automatic 1st down, the dead ball foul was then walked back 15 yards but it remain 1st and 10.

So offsetting penalties? If the live ball foul gave them a 1st and 10 then the dead ball should’ve been assessed after that. Makes no sense otherwise.

I've never seen a team be on the verge on greatness hold themselves back so much. This offense could be nearly unstoppable. I'm afraid at this point, the issues we see (Hookers misfires, inconsistent running, penalties)... it is what it is. Very curious to see if the defense can be the difference in additional wins (from last year's 7) because I think the offense is going to be about what it already was last year (which is pretty good but will need the D in a few games).
You nailed it we aren’t clicking offensively and have a way to shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties. We have to clean this up against the “goofy Gators”

There we go! Still didn’t hit him in stride tho. Little late throwing it. If Hendon gets dialed in on timing and touch look out. Jalen had to wait just a touch on the ball.

I mean, technically that was underthrown and Hyatt had to stop to get it, but he was so open it didnt matter

The dead ball foul was assesed afterwards that's why they walked back 15 yards!
