I'm surprised they aren't more excited by our bad performance on offense and our D winning the game for us. I mean, we all know what our offense is capable of. I'm excited knowing our D can get things done (@Glitch ). Teams better watch out when our offense and defense is humming.
I think they are. I haven't heard a ton of skepticism.. More of an acknowledgment that you can't play that sloppy and count on winning.

But, for that game, on the road, to 20 team... To find ourselves yet again in a situation where this program has an opportunity to win a game that matters... We were 'doing it again'in terms letting it slip away... We found a way to win.

Even with all the mistakes that looked seemingly like nails in another coffin for a Tennessee football season... We just kept making plays.

And we made enough to win.

Most I heard said there was a lot of value in winning that game the way we did. Josh pate basically said that winning that way makes Tennessee more dangerous because it shows were not a one trick pony, and if the defense can duplicate performances like that one.. Look out.

You just can't game plan it that way going forward...😂

"A unique trait to the copperhead, some allege, is that it smells like cucumber when it’s angry."

"If someone’s out doing yard work and a smell wafts by reminiscent of freshly chopped salad, then odds are good they’re within striking distance of an unhappy copperhead, according to the folk wisdom of some."

This is what the experts say now I guess whatever u smell is up for enterpertation.Pretty sure we smelled them based on the fact we ran up on them so there's that.
Again I'm not saying you didn't smell it or they don't smell like that. You also didn't quote the expert in the article, you quoted the myth that the expert addressed.

What the herpetologist in that article said was, "This isn’t outright false, but it is misleading.
“I’ve been around a ton of copperheads and I’ve never smelled anything close to cucumber,” Foley said. “I guess it depends on what you think a cucumber smells like.”“It smells different to different people,” Foley said. “To me, it just smells terrible.”

Which is basically exactly what I said. It might, it might not, herpetologist that I know who've worked with and handled them say it doesn't, but senses are all relative.

I do hope Mitchell will get his head on straight and play a lot tomorrow to get into game shape. We need him for depth. Just don't get this guy. You ball out all Fall to get playing time and then screw up first two games. Doesn't make sense. Did we ever find out for sure why he missed? I know its been said that it might be team discipline issues?

Who was he throwing to?

You can just hear his coach during the time out. Whatever you do don't take chances. Throw it away if you don't see someone open. And then throws it right to the defense. That's what gives those coaches grey hair when they are in their 30's or early 40's. lol
