This relocation is also easily justified by the fact that Martha's Vineyard does not have sanctuary status, while Boston does. If this was an attempt to "own the libs," .... it is a fail.

^^^ That is the political statement that DeSantis wants to project onto Massachusetts. ^^^

However, Massachusetts is not technically a sanctuary state. Their Republican Governor is opposed to it, but he does believe that decision should be made locally... and Martha's Vineyard is not a sanctuary location. This statement would have been apt if those immigrants had been taken to Boston, or one of the other 7 sanctuary cities/towns in the state of Massachusetts and turned away, but that is not what happened.
