We didn't see much of Walker against Pitt...that's interesting.

Saw Tillman, Hyatt, Bru, Keyton the most. I don't recall even seen Squirrel get many snaps. Maybe they wanted the bigger bodies in against the physical corners?

I mean I know people don't think of Tillman as a speed guy, but he went right by his guy quite a few times when they didn't try to get hands on him. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he's a 4.4 guy at the combine.
We went back to playing 3 WRs like last year. Keyton had a couple plays, but for the most part it was just Tillman, Hyatt and Bru

The wife and I are going to Gatlinburg for a few days before the Florida game. I haven’t been there since childhood. We’re staying on the strip and within walking distance of everything. I’m needing some good restaurant recommendations, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Feel free to recommend shops, bars, or attractions. I’m excited to check it out again.
We like the Old Mill in PF for lunch. It’s right in the middle of all kinds of stuff to do too

Anyone got any suggestions on somewhere between Nashville and Knoxville I could stay Friday before the Florida game? Decent town with stuff to do. Wife wants to stay in Nashville to shop and drink. I wanna get closer but don’t know much about the in between area.
The lodge at Fall Creek Falls just opened back up. It's a little bit off of I-40 but a pretty cool place to stay and explore this time of year. Onsite restaurant overlooking the lake, golf course, and a cool waterfall to look at. Also they just opened the Buc-ee's in Crossville.

Go to Cherokee Grill and get the prosperity steak. It has Worcestershire butter on it. Also the Donut Friar in The Village and Crockett's Breakfast Camp. Bennett's Pit BBQ has pretty good brisket burnt ends if you are into that sort of thing. Old Mill in Pigeon Forge is good country cooking with some little craft shops/blacksmith nearby.

I'm not one bit on the fence about the Vols defense as long as they stay reasonably healthy with key players.

What I saw was a strong level of coaching adjustments starting in the second quarter, a deviation from the game plan to account for what Pitt was doing. I also saw the D smoking the QB on nearly every pass even when he got it off on time accurately. It worked, Slovis was a casualty in the battle. I was very happy to see Baron destroying an O-line that loved to tackle instead of block with Big O pushing the pocket back in the QB's face with Young and Harrison zooming in from the outside. In reality the D won the game at the ACC's champion's house while overcoming a bunch of mistakes on O and in the punt game. We will give up more points than other good D's because of the number of possessions our O creates in every game. So 27 points in Pitt's house with a good performance in the last 35-40 minutes of the game works great in my book.

The weak link is still Burrell. Will always be Burrell. Especially if they start calling d-holding and PI penalties on him, which they will.

Pitt is a quality program. They stay that way because of the ACC competition and due to them playing a physical style of football. They also stay that way because Narduzzi is actually a good HC even if he is a whiner. He knew when he appealed the ruling that it was called right. It gets the crowd more fired up with the "we was robbed" angle. That also helps him keep his job with the games they lose, act like they were robbed.

There were also at least 4 or 5 passes that should have been interceptions that hit our defenders in the hands. Several of these inexplicably took a Pitt bounced and wound up as completions. If we get even a couple of those breaks to go our way then that completely changes the dynamic of the game.

Love this part of the game video the team put out:

and look at Milton at the end of the video. Dude is game ready.

Milton wants to be out there playing so bad... I still don't see why we can't come up with some plays to use him, he's just too good of an athlete... Sneak him out there a few times at WR and then let him pass one down field, or line up at Hback and get a pitch out and then toss one...

I second the Old Mill. One of my new favorite places, just make sure you come hungry. They aren't shy about portion sizes.

The Pancake Pantry for breakfast is walking distance and great. Best Italian is a restaurant across from the tram entrance and is always good. As you enter Gatlinburg from the Pigeon Forge side, a great deli sandwich is at Parton’s Deli (Get the ham & cheese).

Also, I am firmly in the Peddler camp. Great salad bar, great steaks & great atmosphere.
