Twitter is saying checker Neyland for Florida

I wish everyone could just wear orange and be loud. I think this is one where Twitter doesn't have it's pulse on what people want. Small segment of the population saying everyone wants it. The tweets have 300 likes and 100k will be at the game

tickets also shot up $60-100 each almost instantly once it was announced we were doing it for Ole Miss last year.

the five of you that hate it on here are absolutely in the minority

Oh yeah, that's why people wanted to go to the Ole Miss game last year. I forgot they even did it that game.

I was at the Oklahoma checkered Neyland game and it was great. We have just done the same thing for a while where a orange out would be cool to see if we wanted to coordinate something.

just change the white sections to blue - then it would absolutely screw with florida as to why all of the blue and orange people are booing them.

Frustrations about losing games has ZERO to do with checkering the stadium. When Oklahoma striped the stadium in Norman, I thought it was the coolest thing. Only a few of our fans see it as a gimmick. Its cool, it looks great and life is too short to sweat this. And you are not cool or a rebel by wearing a different color...you are just stubborn

I’m not against checkered Neyland but it’s been exhausted more times than not in a losing effort. This is an important football game for the trajectory of the rest of the season. We should take the pressure off of ourselves, win and then see if there’s a fitting time for it. We are early in the season and still trying to find our stride. I doubt checkered Neyland makes any difference whatsoever in the outcome of the game it’s probably just a preference from a battered vol fan

I don't how it could be "exhausted" Correct me if I'm wrong, but during the cornbread years we never did anything. (No checker Neyland, no alt Jerseys, and a very boring time period with an abundance of losses.)

When you see Neyland Stadium checkered on TV, It is beautiful!!!

Coming in from Cincinnati - who has a tailgate my wife and I can join and meet Vol fans?

We'll bring a fifth of Bourbon to share!

With most VOL fans - "the more the merrier" especially if you bring your own alcohol......

Get there early. Parking is an issue. They just made it so that you can't turn left either way driving down the strip, so it can be a pain.

Alabama? Anybody? Beuller? Or did you mean in the East specifically?
Historically they may be our biggest rival but right now it's a game that pretty much everyone writes off as a loss, so it's hard for me to consider them our biggest rival. Even though Florida has owned us in terms of W/L lately the games have been much more competitive than those against Alabama.

I disagree with your argument but I understand your logic.

I used to always advocate for an orange out.
But, over my many years, I learned something that kind of shocked me.
NOT EVERYONE IN OUR FAN BASE LIKES WEARING ORANGE. Sorry for screaming that. But, damn,

Ive taken new fans, and even longtime fans, to games where they wear white, black, or gray with an orange T.
When I’ve asked them why, (you’re going to love this answer), they say they “don’t look good in orange”.
When I press them on it, they say that orange makes them look fatter. And, this isn’t just women.
Since I’ve got a few extra pounds on me, actually about 50 extra, I usually respond with
“hmmm, I think what makes me look fatter is a bad diet and not enough exercise, but that’s just me, I guess”.
