Under previous regimes, ERRYTHING could be going great and we’d finish with under 200 yards passing and maybe a TD. “Struggled” in this one and you see the stats.Things are never as bad or as good as they appear, especially looking at one game. That game was as sloppy as any game I've witnessed in the Heuple era. I can't imagine that is going to be the norm going forward.
The best thing is, as bad as the play was at times, they still managed a win. It's much easier to correct those things after a win, a close one at that, than a loss. Coming close to losing is the best motivator to fixing things.
Best thing to do is look forward not backwards. Fix things against Akron and two weeks of practice and get ready for the slimey, cold blooded creatures from swamp land.
I thought we had a pretty good officiating crew. Hard to buy they were SEC.I agree with your point, but everything didn't go against us in my opinion. We played horrifically and still won I think is a better way to phrase it. Refs didn't hurt us, injuries didn't hurt us, luck didn't hurt us. You could say most things out of our control went in our favor. We played well below our potential and still won, which is encouraging.
I hate to say it but there is a chance Hooker peaked last year.
He can still be good. But you might realize there is no upside.
I think that’s why coaches wanted Milton to figure it out.
I am not saying make a change. I don’t think you can do that.
I’m just saying improvement on last year light not be reasonable. But something similar would be great.
I said last week that I thought he could potentially be trying to get fired sooner.Losing to Georgia Southern earned Scott Frost an extra $7.5 million lol
I'm not talking so much about the offense although, no touchdowns in the second half is something I'd never see with this team, I was more talking about the turnovers.Under previous regimes, ERRYTHING could be going great and we’d finish with under 200 yards passing and maybe a TD. “Struggled” in this one and you see the stats.
