My Dad took me to the 1980 Pitt game. This was a better result.

This is a good one.
I know people will pick apart the negatives. And that's fair game.
But we just beat the defending ACC champs and a team that was ranked several spots ahead of us on the road.
We made numerous mistakes, and still got the win.
I am very happy. We still need to get better, but we can enjoy this one.
Two MONSTER plays in one half, some misfires and a couple of outright drops, a blocked punt, a lost fumble at an inopportune time.
Despite losing momentum in the 4th, we got it back in OT even after having a TD called back. And we put a hurt on whatever QBs they put in there.
When is the last time we can say we made so many mistakes and yet beat a pretty good team?
I am happy.
