Butch had the best resume since Majors when he was hired. Sad but true.Sadly he was the most reasonable hire among him, Dooley, and Pruitt. And I'm not sure it's close. That's how god awful that decade was.
I do know Dooley was the worst (decision-based) hire ever. It's still unfathomable to me and makes me upset. A LOSING La Tech coach?!
When I was in South Africa, Krueger National Park sold big game biltong (jerky) like lion, elephant, etc. when they needed to cull the herd of older animals they would process them and sell the meat (also ivory). They used the funds to reinvest back into the park. It had a special stamp saying it was environmentally produced and not killed by poachers. You still could not export it to the US though…..this was 20 years ago though.
