Pete has a lot of power and leeway as SoT to ease/suspend regulations and rules during a crisis and he did very little in the use of his authority to ease the supply chain problems we have had. Pete has given a lot of lip service to the problems but has done little.

Recall the woman in charge before that actually got that job because she was Mitch McConnel's wife. And did the bare minimum of anything, except yell at her reps.

Congress is what can do that. Pete is fairly limited in what he can do, as by design and what I thought y'all liked.

Take a minute to look up the powers SoT has during a state of emergency (and yes we have been in a declared one for over 2 years) he could have done a lot.

Edit: It could be a case of the people controlling Biden has handcuffed Pete and not allowing him to take action.

I want whoever holds that office to use their powers to help solve problems and not just push an agenda.

Biden has yet to terminate the emergency declaration, he just used it to forgive student debt.

Zep, I hate to break it to you but Pete has done jack squat to help the supply chain problems. And I’ll say it again, it might not be Pete’s fault, the Biden handlers might not be allowing him to do anything. If that’s the case he should resign in protest.

Wait. So it doesn’t matter if he does a ****** job for the rest of the country because Trump?? I have zero bigotry towards his personal life and think he did a few really innovative things as Mayor of SB. He’s a terrible employee of the federal government and it’s not bigotry to say that if he were married to a woman, he’d probably be living in Indiana right now. Everything Biden has done has been about pandering and checking off boxes. That’s not bigotry to admit that. The current Press Secretary would be fired from my company in about 8 minutes. Also this shouldn’t be an argument because having a “Department of Transportation “ is completely stupid, but that’s another argument.

Well we could start with the fact that there were months of airline delays and he didn’t care about it until his flight got cancelled…..that right there should send him back to South Bend.
