well, I went to UT and I played sports…intramural flag football and one game of intramural indoor soccer. Lol
I get ripped for it at work. Couple of Bama fans and a USCjr fan who say, "we are gonna blah, blah, blah....."

I'm like, "When did you play and what year did you graduate.":p;)

BTW....You're good!

Are you wanting a wood frame structure or a steel framed structure? My company does a lot of steel framed barndominium structures just outside of Houston.

I'm not sure honestly, would probably want steel frame. I'd like to put something up that I don't have to worry about for a few decades ya know?

My wife has watch lots of documentaries about her and the royal family. She was saying she really hope Queen Elizabeth skips Charles in her will and names William as the next King. She can't stand Charles for how he treated Diana.
I'm sure we'll lower flags to half-staff for her. Kinda pisses me off because we didn't do it for Mr. Wrestling 2 or the drummer from ZZ Top.

Cloudy with a chance of a volunteer asswooping

Interesting choice of words. Possibly some insight into their plan this week and the messaging within the team.

I think they are going to try to ugly this game up as much as possible, until the refs make them stop. Holding the WR, late hits/aggression through and past the whistle, holding on their OL, cheap shots when they can get away with them. I think we will lose count of how many fake injuries that they have. Slow it down, ugly it up.

Hey maybe I'm reaching and taking a line out of context, but that "pretty" phrasing stands out for a reason.

I was thinking along those lines when I saw that quote. This is coming from Narduzzi's message to his players; "We're the hard nosed, lunch pail, no nonsense guys. They're the trendy fast offensive scheme, pretty to the eye but vulnerable to a punch in the nose."

I'm looking forward to the game, could be one of the best ones of the weekend. Talent wise the Vols have a decided advantage, but Pitt has been consistent recently and OOC road games are tough. At least you don't have ACC officials. Good luck to the Vols.

How are we going to handle that as a team all year, since the Rules Committee never addressed?
Any thoughts?

Pitt didn’t look like the hard nosed, lunch pail group they claim to be when I saw them last week. Defense got smoked against the run, OL got killed, once again can’t protect in special teams formations and couldn’t run the ball for even 2 yards per carry. But yeh they are physical badasses lol. But I get it, there’s a narrative and ppl run w that stuff

What are your thoughts? We want a 1 level with an attached 2 car garage and I feel like they may be the best option.

LOL, my plans are a little out there but here I'll go. My current metal building is 60 X 200 with 20' eve heights. I would like to duplicate this on some acreage somewhere in middle Tennessee.

I would like to take the front of the building and use about 50' for living space., giving me about 60'x50' for two story living space. That would leave me with 60'X150' for indoor recreation. Want a year round indoor pool? Just do an above ground. Want a theater? want a place to put your toys? want a place to put in a cool bar? want a place to work on your stuff? Indoor basketball court? The possibilities are endless. I would do in-floor radiant heating with water from an outdoor wood fired boiler. The thing is, metal buildings are cheap. The concrete is expensive, $200/yd last I heard. You basically build your house inside the metal building. I would do a lot of the work myself after retirement. Am I crazy?

I would like to take the front of the building and use about 25' for living space., giving me about 60'x50' for two story living space. That would leave me with 60'X150' for indoor recreation. Yeah you are, but I am fully supportive of that dream :)

I saw Vice Grip Garage (youtube mechanic fella) and he has basically done the same thing...although just for his garage space. Had a 40' x 60' 3 bay and added on to make it a full 40' x 120' now.

Even if we don't end up doing it for a house I think it's the way to go with the garage space. I wanna have enough space to have 4 cars in there (2 on either side) and a lift. So that's the dream for me at least. The kiddo inherited a '63 Impala and I wanna have somewhere to store it and upkeep it. But also wanna be able to tinker on my own projects.

First time posting or replying to anyone on this board but I just wanted to say that your plan is similar to what I was looking to build. The concrete is by far the most expensive part of that build. I looked at doing something similar to your plan but lucked into a structure that was already built but completely open. I'm just building in the interior to our plans. I couldn't have afforded the concrete for the space I now have. The concrete on my property alone is probably worth more than I paid total.
