War in Ukraine

India/China are making money on the trade, buy it from Russia, resell to Europe at a super high premium. Europe is getting energy supply but they are paying much more than anyone else.... its stupidity on a whole other level. Globally, I think peak energy price for a bit pending any new developments. Prices seem to be easing and slowly globally... too early to tell if United States or global slowdown beyond a small mild recession. ???

Generally speaking, white nations are going to be in very big trouble medium to long-term as they are not putting in resources, money, and time into securing long-term cheap energy sources.
You seem really obsessed with Europe and what they pay for energy. How about you put on your big boy pants and cross the pond and help end this war so you can stop being so worried? I'm sure you got what it takes to be in the Russian army I mean, the standards are so low its almost impossible for you not to get in.

LOL I love this crap. Let all the stupid white people blow themselves up and go back to living in caves, or better yet.... eliminate themselves from the gene pool.

I can't wait for the next chapter.

Why in the hell would someone be so stupid to go fight that nonsense? LOL

The only war going on is the economic one.

At some point, after being wrong for months saying this ridiculous line, you think you would be embarrassed to keep posting in this thread let alone keep repeating it. Trolling this thread doesn't get old for you?

Gather you're not keeping up with actual war news, per usual.

Seems Russia losing badly on 3+ fronts now. Lost 20KM+ in two days east of Kharkiv.

Enjoy.

Gonna go out on a limb and say the Soviet apologist lap dogs here dont have math as a strong suit.

The 4 stooges combined IQ... let's just say my dog's got em beat. My personal fav is Shemp... he lives in an alternate universe and/or is full-blown schizophrenic. o_O

With my luck, he'll have the seat next to me and my GF at the FL game.

Ah. All ushanka, no potato's. Not surprised.

That next chapter though... Go back to Chapter 1. Rinse and repeat. That's how it works for you.

I don't even know what that is suppose to mean, if I want to die for no reason I could just take my own life without getting on a plane. Why would I go fight that fight? LOL

What are you even talking about? If you want to go fight whatever that is... go, don't let me stop you. Eliminate yourself from the gene pool, my generally take is... humans might be better off. When does your plane leave?

I'm keeping up. Just more of the same. Flailing counters that are doing nothing but feeding Ukrainian men into Russian meat grinders.

Celebrating this "counteroffensive", if you can even call it that, is really quite grotesque...

More than 3,000 Ukrainians have died by now in the Kherson offensive without having made any significant progress. Hundreds of tanks and armored vehicles were lost. A dozen Ukrainian planes and helicopters have been shot down. All the material had come from the 'west' which has now emptied its stock of Soviet weapons. No more will be coming anytime soon.

The Ukraine thereby blew its chance to hold a line against any significant new moves from the Russia side. Those moves will be coming.

But what really bothers me is the human toll of this offensive.

I have never been at war. But I have had a decent full time military officer training over several years plus several month long reserve stints in active duty battalions. I have read lots of books and watched dozens of movies about frontline fighting in World War I, II, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan etc. If one reflects on those events and the details described in the depictions one gets a 'feel' for such conflicts. Then there is the operational math like the numbers of artillery rounds fired per square kilometer, troop density and the toll such artillery bombardments will inevitably take.

The Ukrainian soldiers never had a chance to withstand the might of the Russian military. None whatsoever. That was recognizable from the very onset of the war. That the Ukrainian government and its backers tried to withstand the onslaught was illogical.

The 'west' should have given up and make the concessions that Russia had demanded. It will have to make those anyway.

The Ukrainian government has tightly controlled the media and any reporting from the frontline. We have only had Russian reports of high numbers of Ukrainian casualties. Some doubt the numbers the Russians give. I don't. They mostly fit with what I learned and with calculations.

Now a Washington Post reporter got access to hospitals where wounded Ukrainian soldiers involved in that 'counterattack' try to recover. John Hudson's report is grim even as it is not from the frontline and holds back on the most grievous scenes:

Given the timing (a week+ later) of the Kharkiv counter offensive after Kherson, a betting man might wager this is where Ukraine is actually putting most of its assets. Smooth ploy if true.

On second thought maybe the Russian bar isn't set low enough for you after all. I stand corrected. Carry on Chornyiv!

I had never heard/seen attrition as a verb, learn something new everyday.

Personally I dont see what major strategic goal they have around Kharkiv. I mean yay they retake territory and kill some russians. But I dont see how it changes the war. The Russians have more rail lines further back. Yeah it disrupts logistics for a little while but I dont see a big gain.

If UKR can get within range to shell Kup'yans'k, it serves as a major hub for both rail and truck trans. UKR is looking to choke Izyum and Donbas.

Like I said, I have no idea what you are talking about. LOL The only thing I can think of is you want me to go fight someone else's fight for some strange reason.... or more like no reason. If that is what you want to do, keep us posted.

The end result is basically going to be the same either way.

JUST IN - UK govt to scrap fracking ban tomorrow — Telegraph

A 5-10x energy bill will certainly have that impact on a woman. LOL

Liz Truss vows ‘never again’ on exorbitant energy bills

A Number 10 source said Ms Truss wanted to “revolutionise energy supply” in Britain so the soaring bills being seen would never be repeated. She is understood to think the UK’s energy policy has been too short-termist and not focused enough on producing energy domestically.

Like what, capture skittle eating unicorn farts? You need 100s of billions if not more and 10-20 year time-frame.

Like I said..the bar isn't low enough. You don't have to keep deflecting and projecting. We all get it.

I get that you are upset and mad, and you having a hard time with all this. You can either rationally discuss or not, its up to you.

Rest your eyes child

Well, the only thing I have gotten out of your posts so far is you're a Comrade (Russian) who wants to see Ukrainians fight until there are none left. That part is pretty funny and has not left me. However, that little bit of humor (which I will laugh about for some time) is not worth going through the rest of the nonsense.

I'll wish you good luck in getting the Ukrainians to all die, but to be honest... they seem intent on doing that all by themselves. With that said, enjoy whatever it is you are doing with your life or whatever else this is... I guess. I'll place you on ignore so that you don't have to hear from me anymore directly.

How Europe's energy crisis could worsen even if Germany, EU countries survive winter

Europe is in a sticky situation, he noted, arguing that officials will have to tap all available resources to survive into 2023.

"So, you make it through the winter in 2022 and 2023, then you emerge in March of 2023 in a very low situation of inventories, with probably not enough time to rebuild inventories for 2023 and 2024 in any meaningful way, so you probably have another year of high prices," Blas said.

In the meantime, German Economy Minister Robert Habeck believes parts of the economy could stop producing outright due to higher energy prices. "I can imagine that certain industries will simply stop producing for the time being,” he told reporters, noting companies would go that route rather than become insolvent.

Yup. That's the problem. They have supply, but they paid 5-10x the real costs. So, unless there is a recession or most likely start to see depression.... they will most likely blow through the reserves. Nothing they are doing is really fixing anything.

If you want the economy to keep going, they have to find lots of cheap energy. We'll see how the winter goes, the economic war is only in the beginning phase at the present course.

Very hard for the europeans to step all this back.
